We didn't get to the skatepark until 6.
That's when I realized that I was missing something. "Shit," I muttered under my breath. "I forgot a board."
"I knew you would, Sky," S8 told me.
I didn't think I told you how to pronounce her name, did I? Well, it's pronounced like skate, but without the 'k'.
Suddenly, my blue and black missing longboard just so happened to be in the passenger seat.
"Where'd you get that? And thanks," to told her.
"You forgot it, and you're welcome."
"Don't hit on anyone or anything while I'm gone, will ya'?"
"Yeah, fine."
"I'll be back in about twenty minutes to start heading back to school." I opened to door, board in hand and going up the ramps as the goal. An long with forgetting my life as well, but that is always a given.
I didn't made ten minutes until a voice had to come ruin it all. "'Sup, girl!" He said to me.
God I hate that guy. He's the guy that want to get in every girl's pants. That's just not my thing. "Sky"
"jackass."
"What?" He asked dumb founded, not getting at what I was saying. That is the best thing of having a name that is something else. It just confuses the hell out of people.
"Name's not girl, it's Sky. Also, the sky is what's up."
His little buddy behind him chuckled. "Shut up!" I heard him whisper yell to them.
"Alex, why don't you go find some other girl to get in her pants, will ya'? I've had enough of you, and you're just a big sexist pig that doesn't know where you belong. And you definitely don't belong with me, jackass," I told him.
"Babe, I know you don't mean that," he told me.
"Like using the word 'babe' will change shit. Didn't you hear me? I bet you don't even know how to use a board." I paused for a dramatic effect. When I saw his mouth open to speak, I spoke, " wait. I forgot that you don't know what a board is. This," I held up my longboard, "is a longboard. One of the hardest types of skateboards to use to do tricks, but great for speed. Something that you just wouldn't know, though you should know."
He was lost for words. Perfect. I'm dealing with an idiot that still doesn't understand that I talk back. Great! Note the sarcasm.
I took that as the time to get out of there.
Once I got in S8, I started her engine.
She didn't ask me what happened or anything, sensing the mood I was in.
My life just sucks. It's either I get hurt form my dad, ignored by my mom, hit on my sexist guys, hated my the girls at
school, or am just a loner.Sure I may have friends, but they just don't understand what I go through.
Some of the best people, have or had terrible lives.
I got to school a bit early, but still got everything I needed and went to class.
Somehow it took me the whole thirty minutes to get to class. Normally it was like ten or five, but thirty is a new one.
Everyone was seated when I got to class. Only one seat open instead of two.
And that seat was next to him. Him of all people. I honestly wonder if he set it up. Telling people not to sit near him, or if that's just a reflex if what people see in him.
I know the truth on how he is. Haven't seen him since then, though. Never even knew he went to this school.
But, hell, why did I have to sit next to him! This could not get any worse than it already has.
