"It sounds like you're about to leave me. April, seriously. What happened?"
"Sasha and I kissed."

Nicole sits on the bed in silence. A nervous, oh-so-anxious AJ is actually on her knees in front of the Bella.

"I-I pushed her away! She had some drinks in her system and I think that's the only way she was able to do that."

"Doesn't mean I'm drunk, April."
"Don't use that as a fucking excuse."

Mercedes's words start to ring in her head.

"She knows about you, about us and respects it too much."

"You're just trying to brush it aside to save your relationship with someone I quite frankly don't give a fuck about."

"Nicole, please, say something. Anything."

Nikki sighs, "What can I say? You said she was drunk, so she did it on accident. Yeah it reveals she has some feelings for you, but we'll deal with that when we get there."

"Seriously? You aren't mad?"

"Oh my god April no! I wouldn't be mad unless you kissed her back. Or let her mark you. That's where the problems would start. But since that didn't happen, how could I be mad?"

"H-how could you not be?" She mumbles.

"Hm?"

"I mean- if John was drunk and kissed you, even on accident I'd still be a little pissed."

"So you want me to go find Mercedes?"

"No, I was just curious." AJ gets up, Nicole patting her thigh and April's back in her lap.

"I'm like this because I trust you. Have you given me a reason not to?"

April looks down, twiddling her thumbs, "No."

"Then I have no reason to be angry."

"But-" AJ looks at Nicole, "you're always like this. The whole Paige thing, you were almost nonchalant about it. There's one thing with trust, and another not caring."

That earns AJ a look from Nikki. "Not caring? The hell is that supposed to mean? You just want me to seeth in jealous rage because someone else finds you attractive?"

"That's not what I'm saying-"

"Then what the fuck are you saying April?"

AJ gets off of Nicole's lap, walking to her side of the bed and placing her glasses down. "Forget I said anything, alright? It's been a long day."

Nicole laughs, "It's funny how you think this conversation is over."

"Nicole please."

"Fuck that. You think you can say some shit like that and I let it slide? Wrong."

"I just wanted to know alright?"

"If I care about you? About this relationship? Of course I do, April. You know what John just told me? He said that he made a mistake in not marrying me when we were together."

"Why are you and John talking about marriage?"

Nicole knows better than to have let that slip, but it was to prove a point that Nikki was committed to April and only her.
