AJ scoffs at the text Nicole sent her. She somewhat deserves it for the attitude she's been giving but she didn't expect for Nicole to blow up on her.

Where was this Nikki when I told her Sasha and I kissed?

"April! I can see the gears turning. What's up?" Paige asks, scanning the different comic books on display. The reunited Freaks and Geeks decided to go out and look for some cool comics to read, AJ really wanted to see if she could find some limited edition Batman.

"Just...thinking about Nicole and other things." AJ shrugs. Saraya frowns and places her hands on the smaller's shoulders.

"No thinking of them. No Kevin, no Roman, no Nikki, no one. Just us. Like old times before things got weird."

"Just us?" AJ questions.

"Duh~"

"Then tell me how you fell in love with me."

Meanwhile at the hotel Joe's kicking his own ass. He doesn't know what happened with Saraya but he doesn't wish that it didn't happen; it just shows that they still have feelings for one another.

But what does that mean?

Roman's sure that he's serious about Brianna, but Saraya was something serious as well and they didn't really break up on the best of terms. It didn't help that Roman found out about her new guy probably a few months after their break up. But Brianna was a different story.

She made him feel things he's never felt before, he couldn't feel it with his baby's mother nor Saraya. It was something exclusive to Bri. And he knows she felt something with him too.

So why ruin whatever I had with Bri for Paige?
Brie and I didn't really have anything official; if anything something happened a few days ago and that's been it.
But Saraya's finally happy with someone else and you go and fuck it up Joe.

The bitter taste of guilt and self-loathing rises in his throat and rests on the tip of his tongue.

"T-tell you?" Paige is shocked at how blunt AJ put it and is now red in the face. "How?"

"Yes, Paige. I really wanna know. I'm curious as to when you figured out I wasn't a girl crush and just an actual crush." AJ says as nonchalant as talking about the weather. It could be a little offending that she pays the subject of Paige liking her as a woman so invalid- like her opinion didn't really matter to her. The girls relocated from the comic book store to a quiet café a little ways off from the mainstream Starbucks.

Paige takes a sip of her latte and breathes : "I really can't say."

April sighs, "Ugh! Why keep it a secret?! I already know you loved me."

Saraya face palms. "I meant I can't explain it. It just happened I guess. It's not so simple looking back and thinking about it."

AJ arches a brow, "It's not simple to say what made you fall in love with me?"

Saraya sighs, getting irritated with the questions but she knows that this conversation would have to happen someday. "You aren't a simple person, AJ."

To that April smiles. "Thanks."

"That." Paige points at AJ's face.

"What? What is it?"

"Your smile. I really liked your smile." She starts. "You were just...you. You're so cool to hang around, you're one of the nicest people I know. When you got in that ring, when you flew around that ring I could say that was when I started falling. When we started rivaling onscreen, how you got into character and then went right back to that sweet girl you are I fell deeper. You're a pure girl with a great heart."
