"Alex, hello." I said smiling at her, with a fake smile. I was kind of scared that she was mad at me for dating Ricky. I really don't want any problems with her, especially since I just got into an argument with Ricky. "Hi Ariana. Can I talk to you for a second." she asked. Damn it I can't say no. "Yeah. Umm... Colleen I will text you when I am ready to talk." I said. "Ok." Colleen said walking back down the hallway probably out to the living room.

"You wanna talk in Ricky's room?" I asked. "Yeah that will work." she replied. "Ok." I said while opening the door. She walked in sitting on the bed and I followed standing in front of her instead of sitting down. "So, what's up love?" I asked ready to get this over with. "You can sit next to me if you want." she said to me with a smile. It looked like a sincere smile, like she actually was not mad at me. What's going on? I'm so confused. "Ok." I said sitting down next to her. "Ok, I need to tell you something... I know that you dating Ricky" she said. "Oh." I replied. "I just wanted to let you know that I don't mind. We are broken up and he should be able to date who ever he wants, without having to hide it. Also if you ever need advice you can talk to me, because I know a lot about him." she said.

"Alex. Can I tell you something." I asked. "Yeah." she replied. "Ricky and I got in a argument a few minutes ago. That's why I was coming in here with Colleen, because I wanted to tell her what happened." I said. "Well, what happened?" she asked. "I told Xavier that Ricky and I were dating and then Ricky got mad at me." I said. "Awe, don't worry about it Ari. He is probably just buzzed. He will get over it, just ignore him for tonight." she replied. "Ok, but he said some pretty bad things" I responded. "Like what?" she asked. "Well, he said he doesn't even know why he's dating me." I said starting to cry. "Ari, it's ok. Don't think about it, he doesn't even know what he is saying right now. He loves you." she replied while giving me a hug. "Really?" I whispered kind of doubting it. "Yes, really." she said. "I will leave you alone so you can have some time to think about things." she said standing up then walking out of the room.

She says he loves me, but does he really? No one can truly know someone else's feelings. We can assume that someone is feeling something and we can believe that someone is feeling something, but we can never actually know someone else's feelings. Only Ricky knows what he is really feeling. What if Ricky really didn't like me? What if he was just doing all of this to mess with me? Does he really even like me? This could all be a stupid game. I don't even know Ricky, I only met him a few days ago. I'm so crazy, he could be a murderer for all I know. I'm sure Colleen wouldn't let me date a murderer though. Maybe he does like me. Maybe he truly loves me, maybe Alex can know Ricky's feelings. Damn it, here I am again overthinking everything. I wish I didn't do this. Maybe Alex is right, Ricky is just buzzed. He probably won't even remember any of this in the morning.

I finally got up and walked out of the room. I approached the living room to find Colleen. I saw her sitting on the couch talking to a Ricky. I walked over there and sat next to Colleen. "Hey guys!" I said looking at Colleen and Ricky. "Hey, Ari." Colleen responded. "Hey, Babe. I'm gonna go find my friends. I will talk to you guys later." Ricky said standing up. He walked over to me and kissed my forehead. He's not mad at me anymore. He got over that really fast. I smiled thinking about him. "So, do you want to go to my house and just talk without a bunch of people around us?" Colleen asked. "Yeah. Tat sounds fun." I replied. "Ok, let's go." Colleen said standing up and grabbing her purse. "I will text Ricky and tell him that we are leaving." I said. "Ok." Colleen said walking towards the door.

Me: Colleen and I are going to her house for the rest of the night. xx

Ricky: Ok. Have fun. :)

~At Colleen's House~

"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked Colleen while shutting the front door. We walked down the hallway to Colleen bedroom. "Well, there's this guy..." Colleen said sitting on the bed. I ran over to the bed and sat down right next to her "Tell me everything!" I said excited to hear about her crush. "Ok, I like this guy, but he's not giving me the attention that I want. I don't think he likes me back." Colleen said. "Oh." I said in response. "What's wrong with me, Ari?" Colleen asked. "You NEED to stop talking to this guy." I said kind of worried about how she would react. "What? Why?" she asked in reply. "I know it's fun to chase after this guy, believe me I have done it MANY times but when you do this you are slowly wearing on your self esteem. You start to wonder what's wrong with you and why he doesn't like you back. There is nothing wrong with you, you are just chasing after someone that doesn't want to be chased. If you chase someone that doesn't want to be chased they are just going to keep running. The person you want to be with or the person you want to like you back, it's shouldn't be hard to get them to like you back. Crushes are supposed to be easy. It shouldn't make you cry. It shouldn't make you feel bad about yourself. It shouldn't be hard. Crushes and relationships are not supposed to be painful. Now that doesn't mean that everyone should start liking you, it means if a crush or a relationship is painful then it probably isn't meant to be. You need to realize how valuable you are and stop chasing after people who don't realize that. RESPECT YOURSELF! Surround yourself with people that love and respect you. Just don't talk to people that don't want to talk to you. You deserve to feel good about yourself. You deserve attention. You deserve to have someone who can see how amazing you are. Stop chasing this guy, Colleen." I said to her hoping she wouldn't be mad at my response. I watched as her eyes teared up and she leaned in and hugged me, crying on my shoulder. "Thank you, Ari. I love you." she said. "I love you too, Colleen" I said with a smile.
