It's already the end of the school, the day passed real fast. I'm already changing my books, ready to go home. I walk down the aisle of the school to go outside, and suddenly I hear someone calling my name. I stop in my track."Shannon!" Someone called me, I turned around to see who it is. It's Mrs. Marshall, the principal. Why is she calling me? I then walk towards to her.
"Can I help you, Mrs. Marshall?" I asked her.
"Don't you have something to do now?" She asked me. What is she wanted to know?
"Yeah, I was about to go home. I hope you don't mind if I ask why?" I said to her. And she laughs. I don't see anything funny. I look around me to see if there's something to laugh about, but there's none of it. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Don't even know what to say.
"Shannon, did you forget that you have an after school class?" She told me, answering my question about what is happening right now.
Gosh, I forgot about it. I forgot that I have an after school class every Tuesday and Thursday, and it is Tuesday now. I mentally slapped my head. I was about to walk home and take a long nap but I don't think it would be happening today.
"Oh my God, I'm sorry Mrs. Marshall. I forgot about it," I told her meaning it and added, "I guess I'll just go to the class now?"
"That's fine, Shannon. And yeah you good to go now." She said to me.
"Thanks for reminding me though." I told her. But I really don't mean it because I hate her for reminding me. She gives me a nod and I walked away from her, to the class.
As I get into the class I saw no one there. Thank God I didn't have to see Brody here. He's probably going to skip the class, and I am going to be the only who will be in here. Well, maybe with a few of them who need an after school class. I walk through the class and take a seat. I then heard a beep coming from my pocket. I picked up my phone to see what it is. I got a message.
From: Joshkin
I'll be waiting in front of the class right at 4.25! Or maybe earlier :pI texted him back to let him know that I get the message. Yeah I name his contact Joshkin, from Josh and munchkin. Because that's what we usually call each other. And then I heard the door opened. The teacher came in, it's Mr. Kennedy, my math teacher. He walked through the room and sit down on his table. Until he recognise that I'm here.
"Shannon, right?" He ask me. I nodded and he added, "what are you doing here?"
I don't even know. "After school class?" I said to him.
"Really?" He look at me in disbelief, laughing after that. I look at him with a straight face, confused. What's with people and laughing today?
"Yeah?" That's all I manage to say.
"What makes you need an after school class? Did you really use your spare time studying?" He asked me, still laughing. He's so annoying, but sometimes kind too.
"I don't know. Mrs. Marshall's told me to join the after school class." I shrugged.
"That's funny. Is it involving the London thing? I think you don't need an after school class to get you back to the syllabus or the curriculum in here. You can study on your own. But-" he's interrupted by someone coming to the class. There are 3 of them. I don't know the 2 of them, but I know one of them. Brody.
Brody came into the room. When he finally saw me, he look shocked but quickly covering it so that I can't see it. Well, caught ya. But then I remember how intimidating he is so I quickly look away from him.
