Chapter 22

HANNAH

I continued walking forward until I realized than all I'm doing is non-sense.

I stumbled and my cheek collided with the cold, hard ground.

"Uh..."I groaned. I'm starving. I'm freezing. I'm tired. Wait...not tired. Exhausted. Or is that the same?

Honestly, I can't remember.

I looked around. It's still dim red, and a small lamp post flickered nearby. I blinked several times to make sure I wasn't seeing things, but then the light disappeared.

I have no more hope. I'm lost! I thought as I lay properly on the ground. Rain started pouring down on the ground and pricked my body as it dropped.

"I'm cold, and I'm wet."I murmured. Then I felt a hand drop on ny shoulder.

Good thing it's still attatched to the owner. Phew.

The person hovered above me, shielding me from the rain. The light turned back on, now brighted. The dim red became a lighter shade and I had a better view.

A small cottage was by the lamp post. There was a fireplace lit inside, and I could spot a meal placed on the table.

I had a better view of the person shielding me and smiled.

"Jane Waldhorn."I whispered.

SLAPPY

"NO!!!"I screamed. "No, no, no, no, NOOOOO!!!"I repeated. "Slappy, chill. Hannah won't make it to the door."Invisible Boy said.

"AND WHAT IF SHE DOES?!"I panicked. "Then everything we've been doing is non-sense, then. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE!"

Invisible Boy turned silent. I couldn't see what he was doing because he's obviously invisible.

"We'll just have to finish her off then."Invisible Boy suggested. "How?"I asked. "Let's stab her? Kill her in her sleep?"Invisible Boy suggested.

"She'll notice."I groaned. This is getting really hopeless. Brilliant plan, epic fail.

"Let's just poison her."Invisible Boy said. "But we did that already, IB."I complained.

"We only made her disappear. We didn't actually poison her."He explained.

"How are you supposed to do that?"I asked. Invisible Boy looked at one of the television screens connected to a CCTV camera. It shows Hannah entering a cottage. Jane's cottage.

"Don't worry bro. I have my tricks."
