ZACH

"Congratulations, you guys!"Taylor and Champ congratulated. Champ patted me on the back, accidentally making it strong and painful.

"Ouch!"I yelped as his hand got in contact with my shoulder. "Sorry!"Champ apologized.

"Keep it together, Chump!"Zach said. I held his free hand as he focused on driving. I looked at him. He just stared at the road ahead, careful not to miss any turn or signage.

Everyone was quiet on the way to the airport, except Taylor, who was singing to her favorite song, Hollow.

Zach parked the car outside the airport. "Come on. Let's go."Zach helped me step out of the car, after insisting that I need extra care and undivided attention.

"Zach, I'm two months pregnant, not some pregnant grandma going into labor!"I protested. "No. You need more attention."Zach insisted.

I groaned. We walked to the airport hand in hand, Champ and Taylor beside us and dad behind us.

"Australia, Champ! I can't believe we're going! It's just the most amazing thing in the world! I just love Sydney and everything!"Taylor kept on blabbering the greatness of Australia.

It's actually annoying.

Dad volunteered to take care of everything we need to fix in the airport. Champ and Taylor bought frappucinos for all of us in Starbucks as we waited for the boarding. Zach and I sat in the lounge, beside a pregnant lady and her toddler son.

I looked at her. She really has a huge stomach.

I listened and smiled at their conversation.

Mother: John don't go too far!
Son: I won't!
Son: But mommy, why is your tummy so big?
Mother: Because your sister is in it.
Son: Is she a good baby? Did she behave well?
Mother: Oh you're sister is a very good girl. She behaves very well and isn't naughty.
Son: Th-then WHY DID YOU EAT HER YOU BABY-EATING MORON?!

Zach and I were surprised by their conversation. I watched as the mother tried to stop her son from going to far away. The toddler screamed and cried.

"VOMIT MY SISTER OUT YOU MONSTER!"The toddler screamed. The tourists, the airport employees, Zach and I stared at the mother and her son.

"I can't do that, John."She said.

"DID SHE TASTE LIKE CANDIES?! DID YOU GRILL HER? WAS SHE PART OF THE VEGAS-STYLE ALL- YOU-CAN-EAT BUFFET DINNER PARTY WE WENT TO BEFORE?! SPIT HER OUT!"

Zach held my hand tighter.

Oh boy.

This life is gonna be tough.
