ODESSA WALKED up to Matt's office. She pulled up her case before opening the door. They had both met a few years ago and since then they have worked together. Specially now that Odessa has decided that her next big news will be to tell the truth about Wilson Fisk. Matt was not happy with this as he worried about her safety, but this will not stop Odessa. It was the main reason why she had become a journalist, to tell the truth. Now, she had information she needed and there was no stopping her.
Matt looked up from his desk as he heard Odessa opened the door. She walked up to his desk and dropped the file. She had excursively gotten a copy of them in braille just for Matt. "Hey, devil. How are you doing?" She joked, taking a seat. Matt looked up towards her direction with a small smile.
"I'm fine." He said, openign the file. "However, I still do not think you should be doing this. It is dangerous. You don't know how much power he has." Matt told her as he read the braille.
"Someone has to do it," Odessa told him, looking at him seriously. She leant on the desk, looking curiously at him. "The people has to know. That's the reason why I became a journalist, to tell people the truth. You more than anyone should know this." Odessa said.
"I'm just trying to protect you." He said, leaving the braille. "It one thing to fight him with a mask, than to fight him without it." He said to her. However, he stopped when he heard Foggy entered the room.
"Upss, I'm interrupting something?" He asked the dup. Odessa shook her in denial.
"You will be if Juliet will have been here." Odessa said right before her phone rang. She smirked towards Matt, even though he could not see. "I will just go and ask her out, Matt." She said, before leaving the room to answer her phone. "Hello?" She said, accepting the call.
"Hey, honey." The sweet voice of Steve said from the other line. Odessa smiled to herself at the nickname he often used. "Are you free in about an hour?" He asked her.
"Well, I'm just finishing up something that I had to do with Matt. Then, I have to go and drop off my work to my boss, but I can ask Peter to do that favor for me." She said, smiling like the cheshire cat. "What do you got in mind?"
"Well, I do not know." He said, faking confusion. "Maybe lunch?" Odessa hummed in agreement. "I will pick you up." He said before hunging up the phone.
Odessa dialed Peter's phone. "Hey Pete, can you do me a favor?" She asked once she heard his voice from the other line.
"Yeah, sure. What is it?" He asked her.

Steve paced around the room with the small square box in his hand. He had just ended the call and was thankful Odessa did not noticed his nervous voice. Tony and Natasha looked at Steve confused at his pacing. Natasha smirked at the small square box he was playing with in his hand.
"Why do you think he is like that?" Tony asked her, oblivious to the box Steve had. Natasha scoffed quietly, looking at Steve in amusement.
"He is going to propose," Natasha said, pointing at Steve's little box. Tony's eyes widen before a huge smile spread on his face. "I know, Odessa will be the happiest girl I know once he does." Natasha said, her eyes landing on a picture of the heart of the avengers: Odessa Nilles.
"Why is Odessa going to be happy?" Clint said, approaching the two with Bruce on his side.
"Steve is going to propose." She said, smiling proudly. "Which means, I'm going to be an aunt. Yes!" She said trunfally. Clint rolled his eyes at her excitement.
"You are already a mom." Clint said, looking at her in amusement. "And you are married to me too." Clint said, pecking her cheek. Natasha approached Steve who was mumbling to himself, possibly practicing to propose to Odessa.
"What you got there, blondie." She said, swiftly stealing the box from his hand. She dodged Steve's attempt to get the box back. She opened it, smirkign at him. "So, Odessa is going to become a Rogers?" Natasha asked him. She opened over the sofa to avoid Steve further. He sighed, looking at her annoyed.
"Yes," He said, looking at Natasha. Tony started to crack up from a corner of the room, catching Steve's attention. "What's so funny about that?" He asked him annoyed by his reaction.
"Nothing Cap, I'm just laughing at something the Hawk say. Barton was right, we should start calling her Ms. America." Tony said, smirking at him. Steve walked towards him with a chelched jaw.
"Don't you even think of calling her that." Steve told him, glaring at him. He sighed, snatching the box from Natasha. "I think it was time to take it to the next step. If I had previously the courage, I would have asked her two years ago."
"I thought that Captain America was the most courageous one." Tony said, smirking at him. Steve glared at him before looking down at the ring. A small smile spread on his lips as he knew that in a few moments he will propose to the love of his life. He could not imagine a world without her.

Steve looked down at the picture of Odessa that was on his wallet. It was when they have gone to the beach for a picnic. The sun was falling into her hair, and she was smiling. Steve was too deep looking at the photo that he did not noticed Odessa that was at the door, looking at him confused. She tapped the window, making Steve jump from his seat. Steve smiled at her, before exiting the door. He walked to her side, and opened the door for her. Steve entered after closing her door.
