ODESSA ROLLED ON her bed, looking at the sleepy James next to her. It was if he was in peace. Odessa brushed the hair off his face as she let a small tear roll down her cheek. She had made her choice. She was going to be the hero of her own story. Softly removing the arm that belong to the man next to her, she tipped toed to the bathroom.

Odessa took deep breath as she quickly took a shower while singing her favorite song. Quickly getting her phone and photos that were on her pocket, she kissed James on the cheek. "I love you." She whispered before walking towards the desk next to her bed. The blonde quickly wrote a letter to him. Putting her favorite jacket, she walked out of the room.

She quietly walked to were she knew Logan kept the keys to his motorcycle, and hoped he would not notice. Putting her hair in a pony tail, she ran towards the motorcycle. However, she was stopped by Beast, who was still working on some experiment. "Dessa, I didn't know you were up this early." Beast told her.

Odessa gave him a polite smile. "I couldn't sleep. Nightmares." Odessa said. It was partly the truth. Even though, she noticed that when James slept with her, the nightmares will drift away.

"Oh really? Well, I bet that maybe I could..." Beast started, but Odessa cut him off.

"I have to go. Maybe later." Odessa said to him before hugging him. Beast hugged her back, letting out a small chuckle.

"What are you doing with Logan's keys? Are you going somewhere?" Beast asked her.

"Umm...yeah. Me and James are going really quick to the supermarket. I just have to buy a few things." Odessa told him. Henry nodded at her. "He is outside waiting for me." Odessa added. Henry smiled at her.

"He is a nice kid. He seems to like you." Henry told Odessa.

"Yeah, he is. Bye. Tell everyone I love them, alright." Odessa told him before running towards the motorcycle and taking off. Henry did not know that she was lying, for he would have stop her from going to her deathbed.

James stretched, turning to see the blonde that had been with him the previous night. When he did not saw her, he jumped out of bed. Quickly taking a clean shirt and pants, he raced to the bathroom, in which it was still not sigh of her. He checked the room, and spotted a letter that had not been there the previous night. He opened it carefully, looking at the letter carefully he swore a few times.

Quickly grabbing his shoes, he ran out of the door. James ran around the school, asking for Odessa, and there was no answer. He knew what this meant: she had left to save her family. James sighed, taking one of the keys to the cars, and dialed the phone number. "Peter, I need you help. It's Odessa." James said in an urgent voice.

This is what leads us to the start and the end of this book. Odessa parked the motorcycle in front of the Avenger's tower. The tower juxthaposed the light that was coming from the other buildings of Manhattan. Odessa sighed, walking towards the entrance. She stopped when she felt the vibrations of her phone. Looking at the caller ID pained her.

"They have my family, Buck. I can not let anything happen to them." Odessa whispered through the phone. She now stood in front of the Avenger's tower. "I'm sorry. Please, don't hate me like they do." She sighed, looking down at the pavement as the tears started to fall.
