Chapter 8: No goodbyes

      Ace's POV

"Kuya I'm so tired." Apple approach us and Irish cut eye to eye contact with me and hold her chest.

      "I'll take you both to your villa." I stood up and lend my hand to Irish. She grab it and we walk to their villa side by side.

      I wish I can stay with Irish all night. When I was about to walk away, Irish called me. "Ace! Why not come in first. Wala ka din namang kasama dun sa villa nyo kasi mamaya pa matatapos yung mga yun."

      I just smiled and go in. Umakyat kami sa kwarto nila Irish kasi inaantok na si Apple. I sat beside Apple on the bed and fix the blanket. "I'll get you something to eat." Irish said and went out of the room.

     "Apple? Still awake?" I asked but she didn't answer. Maybe she's already asleep.

    "You know what I really love your ate Irish." I said even if she couldn't hear me.

      "I know." She whispered.

     "I thought you were asleep?" I smirked.

       A moment later when Apple totally fell asleep Irish appear with a tray on her hands. It has a note, Be strong. For yourself and Apple. :)

    I smiled. She's so sweet. "Kain ka na." She said then plastered a smile on her beautiful face.

      I tasted the sandwich, and it tasted like my mother's sandwich. And my mom told me that true love will bring you back to a memory in the past or to a person special to you.

      "My mom's sandwich is just like this." I said.

      "Speaking of your mom. Can I ask a question?" She said and sat beside me.

     "You're asking a question already. So, what is it?"

       "You told me your mom is dead, right?" I nodded. "How? Wala naman sya dun sa sunog?"

     "She died a month after the incident. She doesn't eat, she became workaholic, she cries every night and the worst, she blamed me for what happened to dad. She used to have her own driver, to drive her to the office but the driver got sick, and then she insist of driving on herself. We tried to stop her but no one can." I'm trying to stop my tears from falling but I can't. I felt Irish's arm on my shoulder. "Then she had an accident." I finished.

     "You okay now? I'm always here for you."

Irish's POV

       At first, when you see Ace, you would think that he's a playboy, he's a bastard, you'd think that he's just like any other guys there, who'll play with girls or something malicious.

     But he's not like that. He's the type of guy that respects a woman, a guy that doesn't have any bad intentions to a woman or to everyone, rather.

     He has the side of being maangas, sweet, mabait, and weak.

      If he would know that I really wanted to spend the whole night with him. Take care of him and comfort him.

    "Irish? I think I need to go. It's time for you to rest."

     I nodded. "Hatid na kita."

      "I'm okay here. You go inside." He said.

    "Goodnight. Bye." I see him walking close to me and then he hugged me.

      "No goodbyes. See you again." I feel the warmth of his body. His smell.

    He let go of me and kissed me on the forehead and breathed the words, "Take care." Before he walked away.

   Habang nag lalakad ako papasok nang villa, hindi ko maalis sa isip yung mga sinabi nya, no goodbye, see you again, take care. Paulit-ulit ko syang naririnig. At yung amoy nya, naamoy ko parin hanggang sa loob nang villa namin.

      "Ayyyiiieeee!! Anong ibig sabihin nun?!?!" I heard the voice of the girls behind me.

     "Ohhh nandito na pala kayo." I greeted back with a smile. "Gusto nyo nang sandwich?"

    I prepared sandwiches and coffees. When i was done I told them I'm going to sleep but they didn't let me. I-interviewhin pa daw nila ako.

    "Please make it fast. I need my beauty sleep." I joked.

     "What's going on between you and Raven? Huh?" Liz asked.

    "Why did he kissed you?" Jenica.

"What happened when we're not here?" Chloe.

    "Do you love him? Or even like?" Clara.

     I was waiting for Austin to ask something but instead she just eat her sandwich. "Aren't you going to ask something Austin?" I said sarcastically. He just shake her head.

    "Ok, one by one. We're just friends." I looked at liz. "I don't know why he kissed me." I looked at Jenica. "Nothing happened. And IreallythinkIlikehim." I stated so fast, even without breathing.

     I saw Liz's expressions, she was shocked and at the same time happy but the others don't understand what I said. "What? Can you please say it clear?!"

     "I. Really. Think. I. Like. Him." I said. Slowly and clearly.

     "Ohh goshh!! Dalaga ka na!! Yayyy!" Chloe said then run to me and hugged me. Jenica smiled and held my hand. I know they're happy for me but Clara and Austin, I think they have something in mind.

      "Why?" I asked them. "Is there something you like to tell us?"

   They hold each other's hand and nod, "Dahil umamin na si Za-za, aamin na din kami. Kami na ni Mac." Sabi ni Clara.

    "What?! Congrats!!" I said.

    "Ako din. Ronnie and I are together now." Austin said.

      "Awww sweet!! Congrats!! May lovelife na kayo!! Yayyy! Hahaha!!" We all together laughed. I'm so happy for them.

    "Ohh Jenica, wala ka bang aaminin?" Chloe asked to her younger sister. We all looked to Jenica.

     "Actually meron." She replied.

    "What?" We asked. "Atin-atin lang 'to ha." We moved closer to each other and the mood was so serious, "Tomboy ako." tapos biglang babasagin nya yung seryosong mood. "Joke lang. Hahahahaha!! Ito namang mga 'to, masyadong seryoso." She joked. "Pero seryoso, wala talaga akong aaminin. Wala pa ehh." She said. Sad and Dismayed.
