A Marriage without Love

Too good to be true

Finally this day has come when my parents-in-laws are leaving for L.A. I was extremely sad that they were leaving and on top of that I'm stuck with the devil alone.

We were at the airport, we were watching their private jet taking off. I had tears in my eyes thinking I have to stay with the devil as he doesn't want to cancel the deal already and he will not let me be happy with Alex. Why do I have a complicated life?

  "You know what? You're stupid." The devil said to me.

"Oh I know." I replied with a shaky voice and without looking at him, I started walking towards the exit of the airport.

"I'll ask my lawyer to prepare the divorce paper for tomorrow."He stated and moved to walk ahead of me. I stopped dead in my track and grabbed his hand to turn him around to face me.

"What? Yesterday you said-" I was cut off by him.

"I wanted to ruin your life but I'm tired of that and dad told me he is giving the company to my cousin and I can have my celebrity life so what's the use of this fake relationship." He explained.

"Are you serious?" I can't believe my ears. Am I dreaming?

" See it yourself." He said pointing behind me. I turned around only to see the person that makes my day better, grinning at me.

  "Have fun with your boyfriend, Tatianna."  Ethan whispered in my ears.

"Alex!" I exclaimed and without losing any time, I ran to him only to have him lift me up in arms and I crashed my lips into his.

Finally we could be together. Since I became his girlfriend, I feel like I'm the happiest girl in this world. He is my perfect boyfriend and I love him. We shared a passionate kiss.

Ethan's pov :-

(This Morning)

Before I could take my car keys from the table, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around just to be met face to face with my father. He had a serious look on his face that I hate because whenever he has this expression he is going to give me some lectures or scold me.

"Son, I need to talk to you." He stated and started walking towards the sofa in the living room and I followed behind him.

"What is it, dad?" I asked while sitting on the sofa.

"I was thinking of handling the company to Nathan(my cousin) and you can continue with your celebrity life. Actually, at first, I didn't really believe that you would change your ways and really settle down but now seriously I'm proud of you, son." He said catching me off-guard.

My mouth was almost touching the floor by now. It was the first time, dad agreed with my decision and on top of that he is proud of me. I was on cloud nine. Dad was always strict and me being the badboy, really pissed him off. He never agreed with my decisions. He wanted me to become like him, a powerful businessman but I wasn't like him because my dream was to be famous, to be a celebrity. Thus, I had never made my dad proud of me.

"I realised you are the bad kid or whatever but you are following what your heart tells you and finally you gave me the best daughter-in-law. When I told you to settle down, I expected some model or celebrity to be with you but I was wrong, my son made the best choice. You really made me proud, son." He continued. What the fuck!! He is proud of me because I married a simple and poor girl? Is he insane? If I was in his place, I would love my son to marry a celebrity instead of some simple girl so that I could gain more fame.

"And please don't ever dare to hurt my daughter-in-law or I'll beat you to death. She is so innocent and has a big heart. She cares for everyone. She is an angel sent from the sky." He added while watching my so called wife, giving mom her medicine so she won't be sick in the plane. I smiled seeing how she is responsible and cares for my family including Mary who she loves to help with the households.
