Chapter 26

"Xeni. You have to help us with this." Zona said.

"How? I'm not a healer." Xeni said.

"But she's your sister. She's supposed to be your twin, so you're her age. You have to say the code."

"O-Okay." She said.

Yanu, Suni, and Zona formed a triangle around Xano and Xeni's bubble.

"You ready?" Xeni asked her sister.

She nodded.

"Alright. Zona, code?" Xeni asked.

"5674289. Elise has to say it with you, too, since Xano is her demon. You're helping to restore her age and memory." Zona said.

"Elise?" Xeni asked. I looked at her. She motioned for me to come to her. I entered the bubble with her.

She looked at me, and I nodded.

"567. 428. 9!" We said. Xano started to glow from the beginning.

"Exit the bubble, Xeni!" Yanu said.

Xeni did as she was asked, and she started to glow, too. There was a flash of light. When I looked, Xano's bubble was gone, and I was standing in the middle of the triangle, with two identical demons laying in front of me. The only way that you could tell them apart was that one had glasses laying by them, and the other one didn't.

"Xeni-ki. Xano-ki." I called.

I wanted them both to rest.

"There's another demon coming, Shana-ki." I said, slowly approaching it. Even though Xeni and Xano were asleep, I could still use their abilities.

"Are you picking up any names, Shana?" I asked in my head.

"One. Selu." She responded.

"Selu? Selu? It's okay." I called.

I saw a shadow, but it wasn't like a normal shadow.

It was a really dark pink, almost a red color.

"Selu, you can come out now. Please." I said, coming closer.

A small figure came out from a bush, crying. Her eyes were solid red.

"Jaski!"

"She's too young!" Shina said.

"You need to be careful! Stay calm." Shana said.

"Okay." I said.

"Tozu-ki. Suni-ki." I let Shana go into both of their daggers and sliced the demon.

"Tozu-ki! Suni-ki!" I let them back out as I went closer to the demon and Jaski, whom of which were now separated.

I killed the Jaski with Shana's ability and put my hand on the small demon. She was going to heal fast.

"Huno. Gela. Selu." I said, calmly. I didn't make her a Shiza weapon because she was young. I just turned her into a silver bracelet for now, with a deep pink gemstone.

"Selu-ki." She came out, laying on the ground. I picked her up in my arms. She was breathing heavily with tears still running down her face.

I brushed a strand of her strawberry-blonde hair out of her face. I wiped away the tears as well. She was the same age as Xano was when we found her.

"Selu. You're alright." I said. She looked at me with her cute, brown eyes.

"Master." She said.

"Call me Elise." I said, hoisting her onto my shoulders.

"Whoa!" She said, looking around.

"We're going into town. Who wants to come?" Suni, Shana, and Yanu raised their hands.

"Alright." I called all of my demons back in except for those three and Selu.

"Let's go." I said, taking Selu off of my shoulders and holding her hand as we walked.
