I called everyone in and then called back out Tozu, Suni, Yanu, and Selu. The rest of my demons were conversing in my head.

I brought Shana out for a minute. She duplicated her bag and made it a little smaller, for Selu. She gladly took the bag and Shana created the items requested by the small demon.

I was startled by a set of screams in the distance.

"Keskeva. Suni-ki." I called. His dagger appeared in my hand.

"Wait." Tozu said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"It's a demon. I don't see a Jaski. Please, be careful." He said.

"I will."

Slowly, I walked along with Suni's dagger in my hand. The screams became louder.

I closed my eyes and used a part of Xeni to help me decipher where it was coming from. The trees became white cylinders in my mind. A faint yellow aura was behind one of them. It was the source of the screaming. It was struggling against something, but I couldn't tell what.

I opened my eyes again and walked a little faster towards where the demon was.

There it was.

A boy with short, blonde hair was struggling against a tree. Something bound his hands to it. Smoke was rising from his wrists. He had one if his legs off of the ground. His yellow eyes were flowing with tears and following the pre-existent tear stains. I looked to where the smoke was coming from and saw that the chain that bound his wrists was burning them.

I ran over.

He screamed again.

"I'll get you out of there." I said. He jumped at the sudden sound of my voice. He looked at me, his eyes filled with worry.

"P-Please." He said. I took Suni's dagger and sliced at the chain.

"Tozu-ki." His dagger appeared in my left hand.

I moved to the back of the tree and sliced in an 'x' motion with both daggers.

The chain broke. It dissipated into the air, leaving the demon to fall to his knees, rubbing his wrist.

"Suni-ki. Tozu-ki. Good job." Their weapons faded away. I knelt down next to the demon and put my hand on his back.

"You okay?" I asked.

He shook his head, still rubbing his wrist.

I slung off my backpack and opened it.

"Shana-ki." I brought out her healing and took his arm. My hand started to glow as I placed it on his wrist. He winced at the sudden contact.

I did the same with the other wrist. The burn scars were still there, but the open wounds were gone.

I grabbed a wrap from my bag and summoned a purple ball of light in my hand. I encased the wrap in it. The wrap duplicated and both fell to the ground, still glowing.

I wrapped both of his hands and clipped the wraps at the end.

"Shana-ki." Her ability was gone.

"Th-Thank you." He said.

"I'm glad you're okay." I said, wrapping my arm around his shoulder and helping him up. He wavered, but I caught him before he could fall. He gripped the back of my shirt and started to cry into my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." He said in between sobs. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry."

"It's okay." I said, hugging him back.

I wiped his eyes.

"Do you wish to be my demon?" I asked. He nodded.

"What is your name?" I asked.

"Kaven."

"What do you wish to be?" I asked.

"M-My ability."

"Honi. Zaki. Kaven." I said, still holding onto his shoulder.

He began to glow, then he became a thick bracelet along with the others. His gemstone was a light yellow color. I made him into his ability, which turned out to be a shield.

The other demons in my head greeted him. He faintly smiled.

"Kaven-ki." I called. He appeared standing in front of me.

He wavered and fell into my arms, once again.

"I-I'm sorry." He stuttered, blushing.

"It's fine." I said.

I put my arm around his shoulder and he did the same for me. We started to walk.

Then...

He stumbled and yelped in pain. I caught his arm as he fell to his knees.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

He quickly shook his head as I helped him sit in the grass.

"What hurts?" I asked.

He gritted his teeth in pain, unable to respond. Tears formed in his eyes and rolled down his cheeks.

"It's okay. Shana-ki." She came out, kneeling down beside Kaven and I.

"What's wrong?" Shana asked.

"His leg. I can't tell what." I said. Kaven hid the pain on his face with his arm.

Shana hovered her hand over his legs. An area around his right ankle started to glow purple.

"There." Shana said. "It's his ankle. It's sprained."

She summoned a wrap in her hand, along with a small, thin packet that contained a blue liquid.

An ice pack.

"How will you freeze it?" I asked.

"Like so." She said, freezing it in her hand.

I thanked Shana and called her back into my head.

I untied, then carefully maneuvered off Kaven's shoe. He winced again.

"Sorry." I apologized.

I wrapped his ankle. Then, I placed the pack around it. I used a part of Shana to summon a black ankle brace that was a little larger, since Kaven had on the wrap as well.

I set his foot in it, then I tied the front.

"Thank you." He said, softly.

I smiled and said that it was fine.

I helped him up, then I called on Shana again. She created yellow and silver crutches, similar to Zona's, and gave then to Kaven.

"Shana-ki." It was Kaven and I once again.
