"Oh my god-Master!" Shana said. She un-zipped my backpack and took out the first aid kit.
"It's alright, Shana-ki." I said.
"W-What are you-?" She asked.
"Just help me." I said aloud. Shana heard me, too.
"Zona-ki." She appeared in my head, too.
"C-Code?" I asked, trying not to pass out from the pain. We had to hurry.
"450392." She said.
"G-Good." I said. I put my hand, Shana's hand, on my stomach and repeated the code. I didn't feel the pain anymore. I put my hand on my stomach. The small hole that was there before was now gone, but my shirt was still covered with blood.
"I'm deeply sorry." The demon apparently called Fuji said. If he could summon her, that means that he's a demon carrier. But, does that mean that he's a human? He didn't seem human.
"That's alright." I said, standing up. "Shana-ki. Zona-ki."
"You're a Rizama, right?" He asked.
"Yes." I said.
"I'm an Okil." He said, calling out his demons.
"Huno-ro, Gela-ro, Quen-ro, and Fuji." He said. Two male and two female demons appeared, well, two male and a female, since Fuji was already out.
"Rope, sword, two-sided knife, and an arrow." He said, gesturing to each of then when he said their Shiza.
"So, you hit me with an arrow?" I asked.
"Yea. Really sorry about that." He said, holding up a crossbow, then hooking it back onto his backpack. "Real arrows don't compare to a demon being an arrow. Fuji can aim herself against the wind and things like that to guarantee a shot and kill on any Jaski that comes our way."
"Oh." I said. "But, why did you shoot at me?" I asked.
"Oh, that?" He said. "My bow kinda misfired." He blushed.
"That's alright." I said. "Accidents happen, right?" I said, then I looked back to just outside of the forest. You could still see my mom's smashed car from where we were standing.
"Is something wrong?" He asked.
"Well. I just started my journey out here. My mom...was in that accident back there." I said, motioning my head towards the scene. "That was her car."
"Oh. I'm sorry. I started my journey because I'm a runaway." He said, looking down at his feet. I walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder.
"It's okay. We can take a journey together, right?" I asked.
"Yea." He said. "That sounds like a good idea."
