Just then there was a knock on the door. Camila groaned but since she was the one dressed, she decided to open the door. Giving Lauren a little more time to dress herself.
She opened the door and to her surprise it was Clara.. Shit.
"Camila? I didn't expect to see you here.. I'm not so fond of you at the moment." She spoke harshly and walked inside.
Just then Lauren turned the corner all dressed up. "Hi mom.."
She eyed them both suspiciously. "So what is Camila doing here?" She asked.
Before Camila could answer Lauren pushed some papers in her hand. "She came here for her papers." Camila quickly composed herself and played along. However Lauren was right. She came here for her papers.
"Yeah, thanks Laur." She grabbed them and walked out the door. "Bye!"
When Camila left Clara looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "You're not over her, are you?"
Lauren sighed. "Will I ever be? She's so.. unique. It's like my heart doesn't want anyone but her. It's tough, mom. I wish I could somehow unlove her or something.. But I can't. I always think about it like a puzzle piece. Like her heart is the missing piece to mine and only we fit. I love her."
Clara gave her daughter a sad smile. She wasn't all too fond of Camila's recent actions. But she had to admit that Lauren was always the happiest whenever the brunette was around. It took a long time for Clara to accept that. Because in the past she had a lot of trouble accepting the two of them. Now was different...
"But.. I have accepted the fact that she moved on so quick and I have Liam. Who is almost as perfect as her.. He is better for me. And I'm focusing on him right now." She continued. Her mother stepped forward and engulfed her in a hug.
"As long as you're doing what's good for you and Carlos, I'm fine with it. I just hope that he makes you as happy as she does. Because the times that I met him.. He's a nice guy." Clara responded. All she wanted was her daughters well being.
Lauren nodded. "Ofcourse. He's the greatest."
----
"I can't believe you two are done." His thick British accent filled her ears.
She rolled her eyes at Louis. "Shut up. Because I can say the same for you and Harry. He came here a week or maybe it was two weeks ago.. crying that you left him for some stupid reason. So don't bullshit talk me."
Louis scoffed at this. "You can't compare what I had with Harry to the two of you. I mean we were just a simple fling. He was an experiment, you and Lauren though. It was different. You guys had like everything. Marriage, children, a house and love."
Camila couldn't believe how cruel this sounded. Louis was hiding something because there was no way she believed he never loved Harry. He had too. At some point he did. There was no doubt in her mind. And he could sit here and pretend it didn't bother him but it did. He could say all he wanted. That he only loves Harry as a friend and wanted to experiment with his best buddy.
"I don't recall people being engaged to their so called 'experiment'. " she looked at him with this sly smile.
He quickly changed the subject. "Listen this isn't about me and Harry now. So focus on Lauren.."
She sighed deeply. What did he want her to do?
"I told you what happened at her apartment what do you want me to do?"
"I don't know.. You did it great by giving her an ultimatum but.. you have someone else aswell." He paused and looked at her.
"I mean you beat the fuck out of Liam. He didn't even deserve it." He defended. This made Camila a bit angry.
