Chapter 6: Out of the blue

"Well, I was not expecting that," Sirius said sincerely. "But I really don't mind. You two look like good kids. I have no dislike towards you, just your grandfather."

Inside, Albus sighed a breath of relief. He didn't know where that outburst came from, but he just did not like it whenever anyone said anything about their relationship.

The new arrivals fit in quickly, all three rooming with Harry and Ron. A week had passed with some updates from Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Draco, and even sometimes even their uncle George. Harry had to get permission from the ministry to go back in time, and they were reviewing his plead.

It was weird for the future kids seeing their parents at this age, actually talking with them and finding out they were pretty cool when they were young.
James got to know one of his namesakes, who told James of his days at Hogwarts with his best friend Prongs.

Lily on the other hand was getting worse and worse. She looked sickly and whenever someone asked about it she would lie and say that she just had come down with a cold.
If only they knew.

On this particular day she felt her emotions especially high from stress, and from her body trying to fight off her sickness. Anything could set her off, and she wasn't used to this feeling.
She hated being angry, she was usually the one to keep a cool head.

It was lunch time on Christmas Eve, and everyone was around the table eating and chatting. They had to extend the table to accommodate all the new future kids.

The mirror rang and teddy picked it up

"Hello Harry, how are you?"

"Good. Great actually. We got permission from the ministry to use Hermione's old time turner. We are coming over there in like an hour."

Everyone at the table cheered and smiled. Maybe this would turn out fine.

"Oh are you not alone?" Harry asked. Teddy smiled and shook his head

"No we're actually eating lunch." Teddy turned the mirror to show everyone. Harry smiled sadly and waved.

"Hello everyone." Then he caught sight of Lily who was nibbling on a sandwich, pale as ever.

'Is she sick?' Harry thought frantically. 'Hopefully it's just a head cold.'

"Lil's?" Harry asked looking concerned. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Just fine dad," she snapped. He was surprised. Lily never ever would act like that, no matter who it was.

"Are you sure? Because you look a little under the weather,"

"Yes. I said I was fine." She looked up and glared at her father through the mirror.

"I was just asking-"

"And I was just responding. I. Feel. Fine." Lily didn't even know what was coming out of her own mouth. Normally she wouldn't act like this, especially to her own father.
