Chapter 12: Disgrace
The people from 2022 that were not at the hospital at the moment sat in the living room of Grimmuald place.  The mood was grim. The teenagers of this time were due back at Hogwarts in a week.

Harry came down the stairs in some clothes that he borrowed from Sirius, he was more his size now. He couldn't believe that all of this happened. Down to Lily accidentally traveling back in time to her relapse. Ginny came down the stairs behind him, dressed in clothes from Tonks.

An elegant eagle came through the window, Harry knew that that was his daughter's patronus. She wouldn't have sent it if it wasn't important. Both parents watched it fly gracefully around the room.

All the other inhabitants of Grimmauld place were sitting in the living room laughing and joking, when her soft voice filled the room.

'Dr. Marida is dead. Death Eaters here at St. Mungo's. Send help before it's too late.'

Then her eagle faded away, taking the happiness the room once had with it.

All the teenagers, including Albus stayed at Grimmuald place with Sirius, Molly, and Victorie, while the adults, (Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Draco, Lupin, Tonks, and Teddy) all went to the hospital in a hurry. They all ran to the Oncology level praying that Lily, James, and Scorpius were there.

But the sight that met them made their hearts drop. A battle had clearly been done here, there was rubble and debris everywhere. The few patients that were on this level were being checked in to make sure none of the death eaters had taken them hostage.

The youngest person in the waiting  room was this little girl, she looked like she was ten. Tears were streaming down her beautiful pale face and her golden locks were surrounding her face. Harry thought that she looked like someone, maybe healer Marida? She was alone.

Harry went straight to what was Lily's room and found the room full of Aurors. Lily, James, or Scorpius were not in the room. Harry began to worry.

There was a white sheet covering a lump on the floor and the group assumed that this was the healer that Lily mentioned. But where was she?

Harry went up to an Auror he recognized and smiled sadly. The Auror looked up, his glass eye looking right at the group.

"Why Harry, haven't you grown. Dumbledore told me about what happened." Moody patted him roughly on the back. He looked to Ron and Hermione, "Weasley! Granger! It's good to see you too!" He said in his deep gruff voice.

Hermione grinned and held out her's and Ron's intertwined hands.

"Actually, it's Weasley now."

"Sorry to interrupt Moody but do you know where Lily Potter, James Potter, and Scorpius Malfoy are? They were in this room..." Ginny looked down worriedly to the body that laid covered on the floor.

Moody coughed and stood straighter, looking straight at the group.

"I'm Sorry Potter but Lily hasn't been seen. The death eaters came to this room and killed that healer," he motioned towards the body on the floor, "and I'm guessing you know that this room was your daughter's."

Ginny and Hermione covered their mouths to stifle their gasps.

"Lily was taken by death eaters. And if that Malfoy boy and Potter were in here, then they were presumably taken too."

*

Lucius Malfoy led his grandson to a study room and sat him in a chair. He sat across from the teen and looked straight into his dark eyes.

"Who is this 'Albus' that you said you loved?" Lucius asked

"Albie? Oh he's my boyfriend." Scorpius said casually. His grandfather's eyes looked like they were about to fall out of his skull.

"B-boyfriend?" He asked quietly. The Malfoy name had gone to shame. "Surname?"

"Potter." Scorpius grinned.

In return Scorpius got a slap across the face. A bright red mark was left on the left side of his face in the shape of a hand.

Lucius stood up, towering the boy instantly. Scorpius stared defiantly up into his grandfather's cold grey eyes that were so much like his own father's. But this wasn't his kind, understanding father. This was a death eater.

"How dare you?" Lucius yelled. "How dare you disgrace the Malfoy blood with.... with-"

"With my what? My sexuality? Is that it?" Scorpius asked as he held his cheek. Lucius's eyes narrowed as he glared at his grandson.

"Yes. And you bloody being in the house of blood traitors and mud bloods alike," He slapped the boy again, "and I'll just have to fix that. Won't I?"

He pointed his wand at the boy

"Crucio"

Scorpius fell out his chair and onto the floor in pain. It felt as though a thousand hot knifes were stabbing him, everywhere. He cried out as his grandfather lifted the curse.

"You're weak," Lucius smirked. He kicked him in the stomach "a disgrace to Malfoy blood. But no problem. I can convince your father not to get with Greengrass, and you'll never see your boyfriend again."

The curse was put on Scorpius again. He tried to hold in his screams, but the pain was too much. Again and again his grandfather would place the curse on him, this went on for nearly fifteen minutes.

"You're not as weak as I thought you were boy," Lucius muttered as Scorpius panted on the floor, his blonde hair drenched with sweat. The thought of his best friend, the love of his life was the only one getting him through this. The thought of Albus's bright Emerald eyes staring at his with reassurance and love, or the sweet aroma of him which smelled of cinnamon and some sweet flower. Or having Albus's warm, strong arms around him giving him warmth and comfort was all he needed to think of to keep on going.

He could do this.

But maybe he couldn't. Maybe he should just give up, and give into the pain. It was undoubtedly the easier way to go rather than suffer through this sick torture from his own grandfather.

"I'm actually surprised you're still sane. Tell me, what makes you tick? The thought of me going to the Potter boy and torturing him slowly until he begs for death, or to kill him right in front of you?"

He moaned in pain as he felt the curse on him again.

Lucius removed the curse and grabbed Scorpius roughly by the shoulders and lifted him to his feet.

"Stand tall! Like a true Malfoy would." Scorpius stood taller yes, but he looked into his grandfather's eyes. Never look into your superior's eyes.

That earned him a punch to the face.

"You'll be a true Malfoy soon, I promise. Even if I have to beat you to get you to be."
