Chapter 7: It's happening again

James sat shocked next to his sister's bed on the floor. He couldn't believe it. It was happening again.

Albus stood in Scorpius's arms looking for comfort.

The order members and the kids from this time period stood in shocked silence until James stood up abruptly. He stomped over to the fire place, and was about to through some floo powder when Remus grabbed his arm.

"Why don't I come with you and your brother and Scorpius to st. Mungos, everyone else can wait here to explain to your father when he arrives," The werewolf said calmly. James thought this over and looked at his younger brother to see if he agreed with the plan.

Albus nodded and stepped forward with Scorpius, ready to floo.

At the hospital, Albus, James, Scorpius, and Remus walked around, trying to find Teddy.

"It's weird not seeing dad running around here right now," Scorpius said, looking around.

"Draco is a healer in the future?" Remus asked shocked.

"Yeah. He hates what he was during the war, and wanted to help people. So he became a healer."

"Albus! James! Over here!" Teddy called, getting up from a seat in the waiting room.

"Teddy! How is she?" James asked hugging his god brother. Teddy sighed and ran a hand through his dark blue hair.

"I don't know. I just gave some of her information to a nurse to check her in. She said she would call me when they know what's wrong,"

"Do you think it's happening again Teddy? Will she get better? Will she di-" Albus began panicking.

"I don't know Al... Let's just hope for the best eh?"

Just then, a healer came out of the room that Lily was taken into.

"Mr. Lupin!" She called. Both Teddy and Remus raised their heads, but she went to Teddy.

"Hello, My name is Healer Rowan Marida. You said you are Ms. Potter's brother correct?"

"Yes. God brother to be exact. How is she?"

The Healer sighed and looked to the people who just arrived.

"Are you all family?" The healer asked kindly.

"Yeah, I'm James her brother, this is her other brother Albus," James said signaling towards himself and Albus.

"And I'm a close friend," Scorpius said.

The witch turned to Remus

"I-oh I'm her Uncle." Remus stuttered.

"Alright. Come with me," the healer sighed. She lead them to a private room and told them to all sit down.

"I know this is not easy to say," she started, "But I'm the oncologist here at St. Mungos."

Teddy closed his eyes trying to control his emotions, James just stared blankly at the witch while having a meltdown inside, while Albus and Scorpius held onto each other.

"Oncologist? I-isn't that a doctor for-" Remus began

"Cancer, yes. I suspect young Lily has had it for quite a while." The pretty healer sighed "Has she had it before? I scanned her body and it seems the Cancer Cells are more formed."

"Yes, but the doctors said she was cured." Teddy protested.

The witch shook her head.

"That's the thing Mr. Lupin. She is a witch, meaning the cancer cells are more aggressive and harder to destroy. The Cancer never left her body."

"But the last time we saw symptoms from her was when she was ten-years-old! She is thirteen now," James said.

"She might have hid them, in denial probably." James and Albus looked at each other worriedly. "Tell me, who are your parents? Our records don't even have a Lily Potter that's alive," The witch looked at each one of the people in the room individually.

"I need to know, to treat your sister properly. Blood type, magical ability, medical history, I need to know all of that and more."

"Healer Marida, would you believe us if we said we were from the future?" Teddy said in a low voice. The healer looked at them oddly, her blue eyes studying them.

"The future? That would explain a lot, but how?"

"Time turner mishap," Scorpius said. "Me, Albus, Teddy, James and Lily are from the year 2022. Mr. Lupin," Scorpius gestured to Remus ,"Is from this time."

The witch studied them through her rectangular glasses, blue eyes piercing.

"And who are her parents?"

"Harry and Ginny Potter." James answered

She sighed

"I have no reason not to believe you. I want to talk to them before I treat the patient."

"But what type of Cancer does she have?" Remus asked

"AML, or Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It seems that the Cancer has spread to her Spine from scans that I preformed."

James put his head in his hands and Remus rubbed his back. Just then a little paper airplane flew into the room and landed on Healer Marida's lap. She read the note and looked up at the people in front of her.

"It looks like your parents are here."
