Chapter 4: Bad feelings
2022
"How in Merlin's name are we going to get the kids back?" Ginny asked frantically as she paced her living room. Harry just came into the room with two cups of tea in his hand, handing one to his wife.

Harry sighed

"I don't know... The real question is how Lily found that time turner." Harry was worried for both of his children. Especially Teddy. Meeting his father like this must have been hard.

"I just want them back Harry. They are in a time that Voldemort is at large and I just wouldn't be able to handle it if-if," she took a seat next to Harry and cuddled into his hard chest. "If something happened." She whispered the last part

"I know.." Harry mumbled, running his fingers thorough her vibrant red hair.

"And what if Lily gets sick again? Who would take care of her? She is in 1995 for crying out loud!" Ginny exclaimed. Harry opened his mouth to respond, but was interrupted as the fire place glowed green.

A woman stepped out of the fire place looking grim.

"Potter." Minerva McGonnagal said stepping out into the light. "I'm sorry to come so suddenly,"

Harry and Ginny got up immediately, each wondering what was wrong. Their old professor would never come without at least calling first, unless it was serious.

The headmistress was noticeably pale, her wand shaking in her hand. She knew what happened to little Lily Luna and was doing everything she could to find a way to bring her back. But now, this.

"Professor are you alright? Here, why don't you sit down." Ginny came forward to McGonnagal. The headmistress declined

"No, no I'm fine. It's about Albus and James." She said carefully.

"What about them? Are they okay?"

"That's the thing Potter... They went missing this morning." The headmistress sighed.

Harry and Ginny were in shock.

Ginny dropped down on the couch, and put her head in her hands. All of her kids... Gone.

Harry rubbed her back.

"When and where were they last seen?" Harry asked. Where in Merlin's could have James and Albus gone? Why woul-
Then he got it

"They were last seen this morning by the room of requirement by one of the portraits." His old professor replied.

"I think they went to Lily." Harry said suddenly. His son's were very protective of their sister, they would do anything for her. Ginny groaned from her spot on Harry's chest.

"But how would they? All of the Timeturners were destroyed after the war."

"The RoR... It can give you anything except food right? They could have asked the room for a Timeturner." Harry said.

"I'm so going to get James the next time I see him." Ginny mumbled from Harry's embrace.

"I need to talk to Teddy so the order can warn Dumbledore that they're there." Harry said.

McGonnagal sighed and went to the fire place.

"Alright... Good luck Harry and Ginny." Then she was gone.

1995- The Morning after they arrived:

Lily sighed and rolled over in her bed. She was sharing a room with her future mother and aunt.

She was in her own bed in the corner, her body sore with pain

Why now? She thought to herself. Her body had been hurting all night, making her sleep restless.

She sighed and got up, dragging herself from the room. She slowly walked to the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror.

She looked horrible.

She was quite pale, with purple bags under her eyes. She sighed, and sat on the toilet to do... Ya know, girl stuff.

She noticed that all along her legs were purple and green bruises. Tears filled her eyes.

This can't be happening...

She turned around and vomited in the toilet

She didn't remember hitting herself on anything....

She put the bad feeling she had in the back of her mind, and brushed her teeth. After, she got up and went downstairs.

'It can wait', she thought 'Now's just not the time'
