Chapter 9: Waking up
Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Draco, and Victorie walked out onto the floor that the healer directed them too after riding the elevator.

"Dad!" Harry heard his son yell. A man taller than him embraced him, and Harry knew instantly it was his oldest son James. James pulled away.

"Hello Jamie," Harry smiled at his oldest son. While James went to his mother Albus and Teddy hugged Harry next.

Teddy kissed his wife Victorie.

Scorpius went to his father and hugged him, a relieved smile on Draco's face.

Harry looked to Remus who smiled warmly back.

"My my, Harry. How wonderful it is to see you all grown up." Remus chuckled, pulling the man in for a hug. Harry smiled and hugged back.

"It's good to see you too Remus."

"Where's Lily?" Ginny asked instantly

"She's in that room," Teddy pointed to a room to their left that said her name in gold. Harry and Ginny immediately went and opened the door to the hospital room.

There was a single bed in the room with a small figure on it. The bed was by the window that had sunlight shining through it, shining on Lily's pale face. Ginny sat down on the seat next to her daughter 's bed and took Lily's small hand in hers.

"Oh my baby..." Ginny muttered unshed tears in her eyes.

Lily had an assortment of wires attached to her, monitoring her breathing and heart rate. Harry sat next to his wife and looked sadly down at his only daughter.

Ron and Hermione looked sadly at their neice while Teddy held Victorie in his arms trying to soothe her shaking figure. Scorpius and Albus sat a love seat in the corner whispering to each other while James stared helplessly at his sister.

Just then a healer walked in and closed the door behind her. She smiled sadly at the family surrounding the small girl's bed.

"You must be her parents," The brunette smiled "My name is Rowan Marida, it's a pleasure to meet you all." The healer shook all of the new arrivals hands.

"Pleasures all ours," Harry said

"It's good that you two are here," Healer Marida signaled towards Ginny and Harry "I'm going to need some information from you."

Lily 's parents told the healer all that they know off the top of their heads of Lily's medical history and return had told the worried parents what could be done to treat Lily.

This was not a fun way to spend Christmas Eve if you could guess.

The order from this time started at Grimmauld place while the people from 2022 stayed at Lily's bedside, talking quietly waiting for the girl to wake up.

A cough was heard throughout the room and all eyes turned to Lily as her chocolate brown eyes opened.

Lily's eyes were blurry, she couldn't see a thing with out her glasses. She coughed as she tried to sit up, as Harry handed her a glass of water. She put it to her lips Sipping slowly as she glanced around at the blurry figures around her. Someone carefully picked up her glasses and put them on.

She gasped and smiled.

"Daddy, Mummy!" Lily exclaimed Happily trying to get up from her bed but couldn't due to all the wires connected to her arms. Her parents got up and hugged their small daughter.

"We've missed you so much sweet heart." Ginny said eyes blurry with tears.

"Me too." Lily smiled even though she was immense pain.

This in my opinion was a really bad chapter. But I haven't updated in a while so I thought this was good enough. Thanks for reading!
