Chapter 10

"I was wondering when you asked my name..." 10k begins.

"Yeah?"

"I just wanted to ask you something to," 10k says.

"Yeah, and what is that?"

"Why do you own a lot of old CD's?"

Nikolina looks down at her collection that's on the table in the living room.

"Umm," Nikolina struggles to start with. "My dad and I used to listen to a lot of old classic rock music when I was little."

"Like what?"

"AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, Queen.... and so on and so on. If you named it, I had it. My dad taught me how to burn music onto blank CD's. I made six.... all on my own." (I actually did grow up listening to rock and roll music, it's all my dad listens to).

10k picks up one of the CD's sitting on the table.

"What about this one?"

Nikolina looks at the CD in his hands, and she says, "That one was the first one I made with my father." and she looks down at the CD and she takes the CD gently out of his hand, and she walks over to the CD player and she turns it on, puts in the CD and pressed play.

It's early morning, the sun comes out.
Last night was shaky and pretty loud.
The cat is purring, it scratches my skin.
So what is wrong with a night of sin?

The bitch is hungry, she needs to tell.
So give her inches and feed her well.
More days to come, new places to go.
I've got to leave, it's time for the show.

And then she pressed stop, and she takes the CD out, and turns off the CD player. "It's been a while since I've listened to a song," 10k says. "What was that?"

"Rock You Like A Hurricane by Scorpions," Nikolina says, setting the CD down in the table and sitting on the couch next to him. "Classic rock is the best." and her smile faded.

10k noticed and he put an arm around her, pulling her in close to him. Nikolina leaned in close to his chest and laid her head against him.

The two of them laid like that for a few minutes, no speaking just listening. "Can I tell you something?"

"Sure."

"I don't really like telling people this but I care about you 10k," she says. "I know what it's like to lose someone."

10k looked down at her, and she looked up at him. Their eyes lock in place.

She watched as his eyes revealed from her own eyes to her lips then back up to her eyes. He hesitantly leaned dos and she stretched her neck so that she met him halfway. Her lips were soft against his rough ones as they moved in sync, and fit together like puzzle pieces. 10k brushed his tongue along the side of Nikolina's bottom lip, asking for entrance. Which she granted.

Their tongues fought for the upper hand, for dominance, and 10k won the battle.

He smiled into the kiss, making it deeper, and Nikolina wrapped her arms around his neck.

After a moment, they pulled away from each other and looked at each other, as they catch their breath.

A smile escaped from her lips as she leaned forward and kissed him again. 10k held her face in his hands, and runs his thumb against her cheek.

"I've wanted to do that for a long time," 10k says, putting his arm around her waist and pulling her closer to him.

"I'm glad you did it sooner rather than later," she smiled.

10k pecked her lips once more before standing up and gelding out his hand for her to grab, which she gladly accepts.

He walks her over to the bedroom next to William's. (Haha I'm sorry that's funny, because sometimes I'll use Will's full name. Why am I? I don't know...).
