How many people have watched episode 2 for Z Nation last week? Anyways, if you have or have not, I will make a whole post about it after this chapter as a note, either way it will be a spoiler type of note.

The sound of paws paddles against the wooden floor had awoken Mia up from her slumber. She opened her eyes and she saw the sun was shining through the cracks of the curtains and the ply wood that Like had nailed in. Mia looked around the room searching for Ana, as she was pacing back and forth by the front door.

"Ana," she whispered as she saw 10k and Nina sleeping in the couch in the living room with a blanket on top of them. Nina had her head resting on 10k's chest, as his arm is wrapped around her waist. The dog was sitting and her ears were perked up looking at the door.

"What is it?" Mia whispers to her as she knelt down next to Ana. Ana's ears twitched as she spoke, but she didn't look at her. Mia looked at the door before she stood up and looked through the window of the door.

There was nothing.

She saw nothing.

Mia shook her head and she looked down at Ana who was looking up at her. "There's nothing out there, girl."

Hours later....

Nina created a hammock that was 2 story above the ground since 10k helped her tie it like that. The branch of the tree was over the house so she could get to the hammock, and climb through the window.

There were groans coming from below her and she saw a ton of zombies somehow that got through the barricade of cars. She coughed a bit and she saw blood coming down from her nose that was now on her fingers.

Was she sick?

She quietly and quickly but carefully wrapped her arms around the tree and she swiftly pulls herself and twirls herself into the branch that miraculously was over the house. She walked along the branch holding onto the tree branch above and sole that were to the side so she could get to the roof of the house.

She jumped onto the roof and she walks carefully over to the opened window that she left open. Nina crawls through the window to met with 10k who was going to shut the window.

10k grabs her shoulders and he pulls her behind him as he goes over to the window and shuts it and locks it. Then they run to the other rooms where they keep their weapons and clothing at.

"What's going on?" Adam asked, as he pulled still pregnant Alice with him.

"There's about a ton of Z's outside right now," 10k says. "We need to get moving. Now!"

"Go out the back way," Nina said. "10k, go grab William. I could care less if he's dead or alive. Right now, he doesn't have a fair shot escaping when the Z's bust through that door."

10k nods his head as he pouts his rifle over his shoulders and walks into the room where William is. "As for the rest of us. There's a car in the driveway that we can use."

"How do you know if it works?"

"We fixed it up," she answers. "We better get ready once 10k and Will come back."
