the next few days were hell on earth for phil. dan and charlie acting all lovey. but, somehow, dan and phil became closer.
every day at lunch period, they'd sit together in the library, sometimes to study, sometimes to talk, sometimes to read with him. occasionally he even gave phil a lesson for classes he struggled with.
but every time dan and phil got a centimeter closer, charlie and dan grew yards closer.
today, phil walked into the library like he usually did and saw dan, reading a book like he normally was.
"hey, dan!" phil called to the boy
"oh, hi, phil. we can't hang out today, charlie and i were gonna hang out. but here's my number, we can text tonight maybe. see you around!"
and just like that, phil was sent off by his crush.
but with a number this time.
