My morning usually started with bad vibes. Work was the first thing that welcomed my eyes and sadly it was also the last thing I need to do evey night. It was tiring, I knew I shouldn't complain but I just wanted to state the truth. I might be a sadist but I knew pain. Yes, I'm an oblivious person at the same time but the fact that I had spent my days and nights focused on work worn me out. Well, I had no idea if shoul be grateful that I became the heiress. I just thought back then that if I killed them I would see my parents. Unfortunately, winning that battle had deeper meaning. I wished that I'm not this smart to understand all the things around me. People near me knew I had personality swing but was that the truth or not? I just wanted to see what true family meant. As of now, I still couldn't point it out.

I wake without my laptop, paperworks, building blueprints and cup of coffee beside me instead I found a warm body hugging me. I missed that kind of warmth, I had no idea what was that called but the only matters was it let me feel safe. Since I was traumatized by Ashwell's deeds, my father stayed beside me. He left his work for me that was why I feel like a burden to him even by now. I felt weak everytime he would tease me that I looked like a lost sicked kitten trying to find warmth from him.

Who would not want to feel safe? Maybe, people who were in the bracket of being categorized as Masochist would definitely volunteer. But, he was a great father for me, even though he was aware that I'm the one who killed three of his children. No one could replace my father as far as I knew. I promised to myself I would not forget him even after death.

I knew my ways to thank him were indirect but I hoped he could notice it. I would be leaving him alone soon, he would be lonely without me but before that happened, I wanted to learn what I lacked the most. Maybe, Duas could teach me how it is done. By accomplishig that, my father would be happy even when I'm not around.

"My neck hurts" Duas grumbled. He tried to get up but something was wrapping his neck. His eyesbrows curled in confusion when he saw Scythe; still hugging him. Then he remembered what happened last night. "What the---"

The girl who was sleeping next to him moved a little; wriggling closer to his body. She lifted her head to Duas' eye level with her eyes still closed "Morning beautiful, " Scythe said while caressing Duas cheeks.

Again, the boy's nerves froze as his eyes met Scythe's red one. Those frozen flames reminded him of the girl's superiority. The feeling of the cold hand on his cheeks contracted with his warm blood flowing inside of him. It felt like he was trapped in her web and slowly consumed. Duas hated danger and risk but this time around if being friendly with those two meant Scythe's love then he wouldn't dare to stop.

"You're thinking to much" Scythe kept on caressing his cheek. "You know I always supervise your mind, it makes me glad that I'm the only one, " she smiled.

That action made every thing worse, Duas didn't handle it too well so he fainted(which was not manly). Scythe laughed in satisfaction. She didn't think that it would cause Duas so much damage. Well, all she wanted was to tease him everyday. In her entire life, nobody was martyr enough to let her mess with them. They would just run away from her and wish for her disappearance.

"Duas, open your eyes, " Scythe poked his cheek.

Nothing happened...

"Come on, "

She gently slapped Duas' cheek. It seemed that it was not effective. She smiled at herself. Something was in her mind

.

"If you don't open your eyes, beautiful. I will eat you up, " she sweetly purred to Duas' ear.

Scythe's cold soft lips on his neck made him shiver. He strangely loved the contraction between her coldness and his warmth. But suddenly, he felt a sharp pain which caused him to open his eyes- wide and shocked.

"Ouchhh..." he tried to touch his neck but Scythe held him down. The girl manuevered her body over Duas. She was light as feather for the reason Duas couldn't feel any weight on his thighs where Scythe sat in order to have him down. Duas was shocked about it- a girl over a boy sounded a little bit strange.

Scythe gave him her "once in a red moon" painful facial expression. It broke Duas' heart to see her eyes wet with tears. He didn't feel any confusion, all he could think about was Scythe's loneliness. He knew Scythe had a personality swing. Even though, that very moment must be one of her gag again, he wanted to erase her pain.

"Let it out, give me what you can't handle alone, " he stroked her hair. It reminded him how he didn't find Scythe's hair color and eyes beautiful the first time they met but now he had fallen hard to a frozen flame. Cold as ice, superior as fire and dangerous as flame, Duas had been consumed by her darkness. The purer his feelings the frozen flame, the darker it casted to Scythe's being but his passion for her wouldn't separated them even after death.

"Duas, if I learn to like you? Will it be an accomplishment?" her voice weakened.

Kira had been waiting for his bestfriend since last night. Well, he left Stahl inside the infirmary without clearing the awkward atmosphere between them. Viewing him and Stahl as "mates" didn't look bad but the only problem was...

"We're both guys and that kind of relationship is quite tough," Kira sighed; finishing the fifth cup of cocoa drink. He wanted to be all active when Stahl came back so the awkward thing would be gone. "I don't hate Stahl...I just, " he paused. If he heard himself saying something that would end their freindship, he had no idea what would he do.

Stahl had been always part of his life since grade 7 and at first, he thought that Stahl was just a noisy rich kid but it turned out that his bestfriend had a bitter past. When he learned that thing, he started to let Stahl do anything like 'playing with girls', wasting the money and flirting with teachers. He did that for the understanding that Stahl needed that as his past's distraction. It was hard for him to see Stahl liked that but that was all he could do as his bestfriend. He had been a very goody-two-shoes boy ever since Stahl forced that "bestfriends should stay together" so there they were... stucked under the same roof. But the emptiness was gradually killing him.

The bell rang indicating that someone had pressed the button. It lightened up Kira's mood a bit; hoping that it would be Stahl. He ran towards the door and gladly swing it open. But his whole body became numb when he saw...

"Neider...what do you need?" he asked.

The lycan in human form had her glowing yellow eyes and white bared carnivor's teeth threating Kira's life. Her wardrobe covered with blood. It was frightening but Kira kept on calming himself.

"Please help me, I can't control..."then the girl glowed and collapsed to a small wolf.
