The thing that happened this morning was hunting me.

Why did I do that? Why did I yearn for his sweet love.Most of all, why did I let myself to get a taste of him?

We were currently at his study room. I was leaning on the wall while Duas was trying to search for a book. He looked happy about what happened earlier. Darn, my emotions had slipped off. What had caused me to do that? I hated how Duas could go with the flow. I was not mentally prepared about it and it was definitely the wrong time for my bloodlust.

"Scythe, don't worry, I will be fine, " he smiled.

You were only a human. You could not walk with me to the other world. It would only hurt and kill you. You would only despise me.

"Scythe, we are already bound by the contract even if you don't learn to love me, I belong with you, " Duas tightened his grip on a certain book as he eyed its imprinted title.

"Don't expect that I will hold back but if our marriage will come to date I will make sure that our relationship will be filled only by respect."

I couldn't handle it anymore. It was a mistake to show him my emotions. I knew it! He had already fallen hard for me.

"Duas, are you willing to die for me?"

Kira had been trying to aid the cuts and wounds of Neider. It had been four hours since Neider knocked on his door; begging for his help. He had no idea what caused the lady to have that but he was sure that it was not normal for a human to turn into a small wolf! God! if he was not in his caring mode, he would have kill the wolf. However, thanks to his very well controlled temper he could help Neider get back her health again. The thing that was bothering him was the transformation itself.

"What's happening to this world?" he whispered.

Suddenly, the wolf's body glowed. The light was blinding enough for Kira not to see what was happening. After some minutes, a naked body welcomed Kira eyes. He didn't shift or blush for the thought that he was not interested on a lady's body. He sighed and thanked whoever god can hear his prayer. The body quivered a bit and Kira noticed it. He covered Neider with his jacket and went to the next room to get a blanket. Little thing he didn't spot was her eyes opening slowly.

The lady blinked her eyes few times and scanned the room. She outbreathed for a while; thanking her adrenaline to take her there. Somehow, without knowing Kira deeply enough to judge his true nature, she knew that the boy would help anybody in need. She smiled at herself; thinking how being a lycan helped her a lot. Well because of her lycan's instinct, she could ascertain that Kira was definitely a good human. Also, she could sense that the boy possessed a gift from a god, perhaps The Blessed called it "The Curse of Eden".

It had been twenty years since that apocalypse, many human had died because of that. It took everything for The Blessed to restore the mankind- the race that they adore above all creatures. All the leaders of each race were sacrificed to Fear, the half archangel and half vampire Gate Keeper of Tertius. She was the only one in The Blessed who can grant the wish of touching up the human race again. The Folks, the term for the creatures in Ksmilx (the fourth layer above Biocristo and considered as the other world)  were already enraged. The war between The Folks and The Blessed are starting. The Blessed needed the help of the three Gate Keeper but only hope was no longer around.
