Seriously...

My chest hurt.

I hated this feeling.

Stupid creatures, they had no idea how could their doings affect a Guardian.

My mom was a Gate Keeper too. She was the most powerful among the three Guardian(as far as I knew) but because the job bored her to death, she chose to the Third Gate or Tertius. It was the last gate to Biocristo, the final resort of The Blessed. She was their only hope until then. She was the Invincible Fear and sadly she was the mother of another monster. She was... But she only gave birth to her children to know who was the worthy for that position. She even left my father after I was born, a monster who killed her own siblings. But what kind of a mother was liked that? Thanks to her I had a ton of compulsions to carry. The battle between my siblings was not only for the rightful heir of the Mortal Family but also for that darn thing. I couldn't believe I want to end my life right now. Well, it was my being's obligation. I was just urged to finish it without any complain. That was the curse given to a Guardian's apprentice.

No, this was the MARK OF THE INVINCIBLE FEAR.

Okay. It was a bit confusing, right. All you knew from the start I was just a heiress of a rich family who had a personality swing and had killed her siblings for that standing. Hell! I was born to make the Mortal main family bloom more rapidly than other families. But after all those years, The Blessed was already calling for me. I would be leaving my human identity. I would be stuck guarding the Tertius for eternity. I thought about the Primo and Secundus' Guardian. Were they still alive after all this time or they had apprentices too? Heck! Why would I even give them a damn?

I sighed.

I needed to stop thinking about random things. I needed to call my cousins. They were chosen by my father, the three most reproductive offsprings of the second, third and fourh families of Mortal main family. You asked if who was in the first family? Wasn't it too obvious, of course it was me and my bubbly old man. Okay. Enough with those things. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. That's good.

My only problem was they didn't know my true identity or did they? One of them was curious enough to try to kill me. He said he was sure that I would be revived right after he killed me but I didn't like spilling my blood for his assumptions so I gave him a hard time when he was under my supervision. Well, he was no other than the World's Best Teen Basketball Player, Crosspholso Drais Mortal. I knew you already knew Limethos Garn and White Yev Vlad but not well enough to judge them, right? Oh, nevermind! You would know them later.

Oh! Well, it's time for me to wake up.

All I knew after I opened my eyes was Duas' love for me.I couldn't help it. He was only the safe zone I could sense. I saw his chestnut eyes staring back at me. But there was something wrong the way they appeared to me. I frowned as I realized that he had been crying. I wiped his tears. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. I got a glimpse of his fangs. Darn! I almost forgot!

"Duas, are you hungry?"

He looked pained by those words. "I can't tell,"

"Listen, I brought to this situation you can't escape. I'm sorry for doing that but you love me, right?"

Duas widened his eyes. "Are you just using me?"

What a good response. I loved it. Now, I'm not confused. I chose him because I knew I couldn't just toy him around. Well, you're too good to be true, Mr. Infinity but I had decided that I would mark you as my precious one. I smiled.

"What if I am? What will you do?"

Duas looked at my eyes; thinking if he could defy me. His eyes were sharp and alert. I could'nt understand what was this feeling inside me but it made me happy. "No, you can't to that. Because all you need is me," he softened his gaze and caressed my left cheek. "Now, can I have my reward for answering you? You have been asleep for nearly three days,"
