Recap
That's when the doorbell rang. I excused myself and went to open the door. I opened the door as slowly as I could, because I really couldn't predict what was on the other side of it.

Sophia's POV
I opened the door entirely.
"Are you Sophia Nadir?" The guy at the door said."Yes, how may I help you?" I said sadly, I was hoping Nadir was there. It would such a hundred emoji moment.
"Mr. Nadir has sent these papers for you, he's asked me to tell you that you have day after tomorrow to sign or do whatever with these papers." He said as he handed me the papers. I thanked him and closed the door.
So this is it. And I have another deadline. I sign these papers and we're done. This is harder than I thought. I dragged myself up the staircase and flopped onto the bed beside Sara. I couldn't do this any longer. I know I have feelings for him but I'm just denying them. This is so difficult.
Nadir's POV
I woke in the morning extremely dazed. I changed and walked out my room. Sophia was no where around. I wonder where she went? That's when I spotted a note lying on the corner of the coffee table. I swiftly walked to it and picked up the note.
she'd already gone to her parents house. That's exactly how much she dislikes me.
I'm really at the verge of a breakdown. This is the only instance when I've disregarded my feelings. This feeling is of agony and frustration.
Without having breakfast I left the house. I drove to office in a complete daze, almost getting involved in an accident.
At office I tried to energise myself by having several cups of coffee, it didn't work either. This is getting really ridiculous.
There was a knock at my door. Maybe, just maybe it's her.
It wasn't. It was my lawyer. He had papers with him.
"Hey. I'm here to give you your divorce papers. I'm really sorry man. I bet it's really difficult for you. But I'm sure you'll pull out of it." Daniel encouraged. I gave in a blank smile.
I took the papers from him and after a short while he left. I'm definitely not signing these. I'm sure Sophia won't even open to see if I have.
I left the envelope empty. I'll send it in the afternoon. It's not like it really matters to her.
People continuously came into my office. But I waved them off.
I called in Stephanie, my secretary.
"Hey Steph, can you tell everyone they can leave early today. And you can take an off too. I'll stick around here finish some paper work, lock up and then leave. But can you tell Jason to stay a little longer. I have an errand for him to run." I said.
"Oh yes of course." She said happily.
"Thank you." I replied. I just got a smile in return.
By one in the afternoon the office had emptied out. No one was left, except Jason, but he was gone to get coffee anyway. Finally I had time to clear my head. Maybe I can break the whole contract thing and confess to her, but what if she doesn't have any mutual feelings? But that's a "maybe" right?
This is so difficult. I'll just send the papers anyway. And I'll tell Jason to tell she has time till day after tomorrow. I'll think of something until then.
How are all these days of my life going to pass? Cheesy, but it's true!
Even though I have been away from her for days at a stretch but now it just a seems impossible.
I really have to think all theses things through.
