He’s in front of SM building. “What are you doing here?” I look at him as he smile.
“Jump on!” he says… Riding a big motorcycle? You have got to be kidding me!
“Come on,” he orders me again, I do what he say before he turns into an angry old man.
“Hold on tight!” he says so I do it. I hold his waist really tight as I hear his laughter.
No doubt that he’s riding it so fast! I bet that the police can catch us.
“Open your eyes now, we are here,” he tells me to. The sound of the engine stop, thank god, I hate the sound of it.
Opening my eyes looking at the place that I immediately love.
“Oh my god,” I always look forward to go here and he take me here.
“You take me to the beach! Thank you!” I hug him. I love the beach because it’s peaceful and luckily there’s no one here except the two of us. I finally let go only to see that Yi Fan is blushing.
“You seem to look like a zombie so I thought I might take you somewhere peaceful,” he says and shrug his shoulder.
“Gomawo!” I say.
“It’s fine,” he let out a big sigh
We sit next to each other and I begin to look at the sky…
“The beach is one of my favorite places since I was three,” I say to him.
“Ever since dad and mum were having a new business branch we never go to the beach,” I add afterwards. I don’t know what I’m saying but I just want him to know about this.
“Do you go to the beach often?” I ask looking at him as he keeps on looking at the waves.
“When I was young I live near the beach. My dad always go fishing and I always went with him, even so we didn’t catch many fish,” he chuckle to himself.
“You know I have always have favorite quotes about the beach, want to find out?” I ask.
“The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lay empty, open, choice less as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea,” I say to him.
After I say that something smell fishy...
“Ouch! What was that for!” Yi Fan shouts. Obviously he is sleeping while I was talking just then.
“Listen to what I say you oldie!” I tell him.
“How dare you say I’m an oldie?! I will drag you to the sea” he threatens me. I begin to walk away and run away from him.
“I will catch you” he says to me and run to catch me.
I learn from this day on that Yi Fan is not that bad.
