You wake up to warm sunlight streaming in from the window. You roll over to find his side of the bed cold as stone like it has been for three months now. A tear rolls down your face as you feel a kick.

"Daddy will be here when you come. The both of you. He loves you so much and I love you so much too,"you say, rubbing your 36-week-pregnant belly. You finally get yourself out of bed after a few minutes of struggling, making your way to the kitchen to make breakfast for the three of you.

You are gathering the ingredients for your omelette when your phone rings. A picture of Calum pops up on the screen and you click it to FaceTime with him.

"Hey, beautiful. How are you doing this morning? I miss you so much," Calum says with a smile from ear to ear. You grin and blush as you sit down at your kitchen table.

" I miss you, too. We all do," you say, rubbing your large belly. "How are you? I see from twitter that you guys rocked the place last night,"

"Did you happen to see a part during the show where I talk about you and the babies?" he asks.

"Yes, I did," you say smiling. " I thought it was so -" you hold up a finger as you breathe through a contraction.

"Everything okay?" Calum asks, concerned.

"Yeah. It helps when I move around," you tell him, getting up from the table and walking around your home. You and Calum continue to talk as you move around your home, pausing every few steps to give your swollen feet a break. As you lean against a wall in the front hallway, you feel something different from a contraction. You look down and see a puddle of water at your feet making you gasp and Calum stops talking mid-sentence.

"Y/n, what's wrong? What happened? Is it the-"

"Calum, m-my water just broke. I'm not ready, it's too soon. You're not back for another two weeks! What if no one can get here in time-"

The screen goes black momentarily before it's no longer Calum's face that you see, but Michael's. He just watches you as tears flow down your face and you are trying to calm down and figure out what to do next.

" Breathe, y/n, breathe. Did you call an ambulance? Your mom?" Michael asks.

You shake your head before asking him what happened to Calum.

"Y/n, call your mom and an ambulance," Michael says before he ends the call.
