Streampaw shivered as she felt a cold breeze wash her pelt. She opened her eyes as slowly as she could and gasped. She saw a star covered moor all around her;and, Silverpelt was shining brightly in the sky. Whoa... WhereisStarClan? She got up from where she lay and took a step forward. Suddenly, the stars above began to spin into a spiral and it kept going faster and faster. Streampaw stood against the wind as starry figures began to appear. There was one figure in particular that Streampaw recognized. "Leafcloud! I knew you'd be here!" Streampaw yelled as she bounded over to the tortoiseshell she-cat.
Leafcloud smiled and let out an amused purr. "Hello to you too Streampaw." she said as she touched noses with Streampaw. "StarClan approves of you becoming a medicine cat. You finally found your true calling." she said. Streampaw let out a purr. "I'm so glad I did. I feel so... So free!" she said happily. Leafcloud nodded. "That's great," she mewed. "I know that the path ahead is long;and, you might doubt yourself at times. But, don't worry, you'll always have your ancestors watching over you." Streampaw felt her heart fill up with warmth as she heard her ancestors cheering her name.
"Streampaw! Streampaw! Streampaw!"
Streampaw felt pride wash over her as she heard her ancestors cheering. Suddenly, the dream seemed to start fading. "Ah! Wait! Leafcloud please don't go!" she shouted as she raced toward Leafcloud's fading figure. Leafcloud gazed at Streampaw and said, "I'll see you next half moon Streampaw. Until next time." she said calmly. Streampaw was about to let out a yowl but then she realized that she would see her ancestors again. She smiled and nodded as she closed her eyes and the dream faded away and the stars around her disappeared...

"Huh? Leafcloud?" Streampaw opened her eyes and looked around. She was the first one awake, all the other medicine cats were still asleep. Streampaw suddenly saw Redpaw yawn and stretch out. She padded over and pat his side with her paw. "Hm? Oh hey Streampaw." he said. "Hi Redpaw." she said cheerfully. He looked around and glanced at the other medicine cats. "Are you the only one awake? Besides me." he asked. Streampaw nodded. "Yeah. I already saw StarClan." she said as she licked her paw and drew it over her ear. Redpaw smiled and his tail rose up. "I've been here with Suncloud at least 5 times and seeing them still amazes me!" he said.
Streampaw let out a mrroww of laughter as Redpaw jumped a little. He must of been at least a few moons older than her and he still showed signs of kit-like behavior. "Wow Redpaw, still a kit I see!" Streampaw whispered. Redpaw lifted his head and let out a playful snort. "Hey, your never to old to have an amazing time!" he mewed. They both laughed as the other medicine cats began waking up. Streampaw saw Flowerfur's eyes gleam with joy amusement as she saw her and Redpaw chatting. "I see you two had good dreams." Suncloud meowed as he stretched his legs. The old tom started walking out if the cavern, so did the other medicine cats. "I can't wait to get home." Streampaw whispered to Flowerfur. The ginger and white she cat nodded and said, "You and me both."
"Finally! I could here my nest from Thunderpath saying 'Streampaw come to me!'" Streampaw whispered to Flowerfur as she entered the medicine den. Flowerfur laughed and said, "Well, maybe you should get to your nest then." she said. Streampaw meowed in agreement. "That's exactly what I'm gonna do!" Streampaw settled herself in her nest and watched as Flowerfur put down some heather in her nest. "Did StarClan approve of you becoming a medicine cat?" she asked. Streampaw nodded. "Yeah. They told me that they're glad I found my true calling." she explained. Flowerfur nodded. "Good. I'm proud to." she mewed. "I'm going to sleep. Goodnight, Streampaw." Streampaw yawned and said, "Goodnight, Flowerfur."
