Hey guys! Thank you so much for reading (: This was posted in honer and remembrance to those who past away 10 years ago. R.I.P to those who lost their lives and those who died for our Country. This chapter is out of love for them. My heart and prayers go out to them and their families. Xoxo :*
(MUST READ: Cody and Cara were sent home due to their pranks. Alli and Christian are still at the Camp and will be returning in two days. The day is Wednesday.)
"Cody, where are you taking me?" I giggled, linking my arms onto Cody's.
He stopped walking and gently whispered in my ear "If I told you, then it wouldn't be much of a surprise, now would it?"
My breath caught in my mouth and my neck shivered.
"You know I don't really like surprises." I told him once he started walking again.
"Since when?" He asked.
"Since never. Pretty please with a cherry on top let me take off this blindfold?" I begged Cody.
He chuckled and brought me down onto the silky grass beside him.
Cody un did my blindfold slowly and I looked at our surroundings.
The weather had dropped as we started getting higher because we were on top of a flat rock. Below us was sand and turquoise colored water. We were surrounded by seaguls and the comfort of each other.
The waves splashed against the shore softly as I stared in amazement.
I was suddenly interrupted by my thoughts when Cody spoke.
"How about a cherry on top and whipcream?" He asked playfully, handing me a slice of lemon pie with a fork.
I put the slice of pie and fork down beside me.
I nervously took Cody's hands in mine, staring into his eyes.
"Cody, this is beautiful." I said sincerely.
"I know you are." He responded, smiling.
I giggled.
"Thank you."
I looked at the space next to us and found a picnic basket. A deep colored purple blanket was sticking out, along with other treats.
I picked at my pie and took a piece in my mouth.
"Did you make this?" I asked Cody, wiping some whip cream off the corner of my mouth.
"You can kind of tell. It's sort of a fail." Cody half smiled, eating a piece of his own pie.
"It's really good. But you're right, it is sort of a fail." I smirked, looking down at the pie. It was really soft, moist and easy to break apart. My pie was split up in different pieces.
I took one piece with whip cream and ate it. I tried whiping off one corner of my lip sticky with whip cream.
Cody moved forward, leaning his forehead against mine.
"You missed a spot." He whispered.
His lips gently brushed against mine, pressing softly on the side of my mouth and trailing slowly to my lips again.
His hands were on my waist, while my wrists were locked around his neck.
We pulled back slowly, staring into each others eyes again. I blushed and looked down nervously, biting my lip.
Cody scratched the back of his head.
"That was the most amazing kiss I've ever experienced." Cody finally said, touching his lips with his index finger.
