EPILOGUE

It took two months to find other members of Establishers. Already in this time the people in the fringe stopped their resistance and their living conditions were immediately much better. The Bureau found 27 completely GP candidates which were resistant to simulation serum. Among them they selected four people with highest ranks at simulations. Each of them had different uncompleted simulation. Among them Tris and Four got good friends.

After a year of negotiations a new social system was established. It is based on a faction system in Chicago, but it is not so suppressive and of course it is without serums. People are divided into factions, but there is more collaboration between them, more mutual respect and people are encouraged to change a faction once in their lifetime. There is a special faction for factionless. They are responsible for less complex jobs and they have courses to prepare all interested people for initiation to other factions. New is also a faction for divergents. They help all other factions and they take care for their coordinated, fairy operation and they help in tasks that require collaboration of factions. They act like a glue of the whole system and they continuously monitor it for necessary improvements.

After the new system was established a group of Establishers was disbanded, but they still have regular meetings with the government. Tris is an important consultant. Besides she and Tobias are leaders of Divergents. They are developing demanding training that helps divergents to exploit their talents and to balance their personalities. Part of these training programs will be used also in other factions. They have so much to teach other people and so much to learn themselves... They need to get through their own grief and this helps them to leave their sharpness behind. They more and more enjoy their life together and they have a nice group of old and new friends. Their best friend is still Christina, who is now in a new Dauntless faction. Together with Zeke they are training initiates. All the time they are in touch also with the other friends. Uriah recovered completely. He, Amar and George are in the Divergent faction. Mathew and Cara live together now. They and Caleb are in old Erudite faction.

The new social system shows very positive results. There is no fringe, no more starving people and almost no more violence.

Tris's evenings are now very diverse. Some of them are just as they were in her house, with her parents: peaceful and quiet. And the others are just as they were in Dauntless: noisy, full of laugh and activities. She is really grateful that she is able to have the best of both of her old factions.
