Chapter 13

Zayn's POV

After last nights experience I went to bed but I'm really excited because today is a day off for Niall and Harry so Papa and Daddy said that I can just do half of my work and complete the rest on Saturday since today is Friday. I was up at 5:30 because I wanted to get it done so I could hang out with Harry and Niall today! I was in the middle of doing grammar when Papa came down and saw me doing my work.

"Zee, what are you doing?"

"I wanted to get my work done early because Ni and Haz said we could hang out today!"

"Are you almost done?"

"I have about a half hour worth of work done but if I go fast enough I could have it done in fifteen minutes!"

It was 10 a'clock and Niall and Harry still hadn't woken up yet and I finished my school work awhile ago, I even finished all of the work I was supposed to save for tomorrow. Thinking that Niall and Harry just wanted to sleep in I went to Harry's room first to find his bed made and empty with a note on it, me being curious I picked it up and read it, since it had my name on it.

dear Zayn, if you're not Zayn don't read!

Me and Niall went to a friend's house that Papa and Dad said we couldn't go to, I know we promised that we would hang out but we couldn't miss this, everyone is hanging out there. Me and Niall need you to cover for us though, tell Dad and Papa that we snuck out to the park early to set up something for you and that we left you a note to meet us there, go to the park and just stay there until we text you that we are coming home, then you can leave!

Well there goes a great day off to waste! I ran downstairs putting on a fake smile and grabbing my coat.

"Woah where are you going?" Papa asked.

"Ni and Haz snuck out early to set up something for me at the park! They left me a note and said to meet them there!" I smiled.

"Oh well isn't that nice of them Zee? Go along and have fun, bring your phone, don't talk to strangers, and have your brothers call if something is wrong and make sure they watch you!" Dad said.

I nodded and gave them a kiss on the cheek before making my way to the park. I tried texting Mason and Carson but they have basketball practice and Angie has dance, so they couldn't come meet me to hang out. Bummer. I sat down on one of the swings and chilled there for a bit until I moved to the park bench.

It's 4 pm, I've been here forever doing absolutely nothing and Harry and Niall haven't even texted, I tried texting them but I never even got a reply! An hour and a half later the sun is starting to set and it's starting to get chilly, I was just chilling on the bench when I heard a car horn go off. I turned around and dad and papa's car was there and they both came out walking over to me.

"Zayn where are Niall and Harry?" Papa asked.

"Oh they are at the um" I stammered trying to come up with a lie.

"Zayn Javaad don't you lie to me," Dad said sternly.

"They aren't here."

"Why would you come here alone?" Papa asked as dad walked off to call them.

"I had to."
