A/N: I  know, I haven’t updated in ages!!! I am so sorry, but three days away from leaving to Japan, and I am stressing like crazy, but here is chapter 12 of The Death Sentence!!

Cora’s POV:

Why am I so stupid? What the hell possessed my brain and caused me to jump out of that window? Ugh, now I am laying here on his bed with my ankle propped up on a pillow wrapped up in toilet paper.

Hey Cora, why don’t we just go and jump out of a window? Doesn’t that sound like fun? Yeah, go do that.

UGH!!!!!! Now Gale will have to keep me in his sight at all times. Well I mean except for now. But I don’t think I could walk right now.

I swung my legs off of the bed and tested my weight on it. I yelped and jumped back, good lord that hurt!! I decided to hobble down to the kitchen to try and explain to Gale’s mom why I am here.  As I reached the top of the stairs, I heard yelling from downstairs. God I hope that I haven’t torn apart their family.

Once I was at the bottom of the stairs, I looked at the chaos that I have now stepped into. Gale’s mom, Channen, was surrounded by tissues and her eyes were bright red. I immediately blamed myself. I hobbled over to her, and when she saw me her eyes became saucers.

“You are really here…” she said.

I nod and she hugs me, pulling me close and begins to sob again.

Hey guys, I know its short, but I’ve been so stressed but at least I got a little something up. Hope you enjoyed it!! Love you guys!!!
