Zoisite

"So, Zoisite, where are your enhancers?" Steven asked.

"They were destroyed. I, well Kunzite, was blown up by Yellow Diamond after she had protested for her to come to Earth as a recruit with Peridot. Yellow Diamond wouldn't let Kunzite, Kunzite yelled at her, and she had her Pearl blast her. Kunzite was knocked unconscious and she woke up on the beach. Thank you, Steven."

"Why?" He asked.

"If you weren't there, I, she may have been poofed." I said.

"Well, your welcome." He said.

I walked down into the kitchen and tried to help Steven make 'pancakes'. Of course, I wasn't much of a help. The batter was all over the counter and pancakes weren't consistant sizes.

I sighed, giving up. I put the measuring cup in the bowl and walked out of the small kitchen. I sat down on the couch and rubbed my arm.

"I can't do it." I said, looking down.

"Zoisite, I'm proud of you." Steven said.

"Why?"

"Because you tried." He turned to me and flashed his trademark smile.

I couldn't help but smile back.

After Steven and Connie ate, I offered to wash the dishes.

As I washed them, the gems returned.

"Oh, hey guys." Steven said, waving to them.

"Yes, hello gems." It hit me.

I was still fused.

"G-Gems?" I asked. The soapy plate in my hand fell to the floor and shattered.

"Zoisite?" Connie asked.

The wash rag fell to the floor beside the shattered plate as I trembled.

"Zoisite?" Steven asked.

"Peridot?" Pearl asked.

"Kunzite?" Amethyst asked.

"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have fused with a member of your court. I-I'm sorry." I said, beginning to glow.

Kunzite

Peridot and I unfused. Both of us were sitting on the hardwood floor.

"Nyeh!" Peridot said, quickly standing up.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." I continued as I scurried backwards.

I jumped up onto the small portion of couch behind me. I unlatched the window and pushed it open, climbing out. I ran on three limbs across the porch and down the stairs.

"Wait, Kunzite!" Peridot called after me, trying to run. After she faceplanted a few times, she decided to run on all fours after me.

Peridot lunged towards me and I fell flat onto the sand. She flipped me over and pinned me down by my upper arms. I squirmed, but she had me flat on the sand.

"What do you want?!" I hissed.

"Why did you run away?" Peridot asked, concern flooding her voice.

"I shouldn't have fused with you. You're in Yellow Diamond's court and I'm in White's. I'm sorry, my Diamond."

"What?" Peridot asked.

I blushed.

"You're a Crystal Gem and I'm from Homeworld. I have no place to go. No place to belong. What do I do?" The tears in my eye fell down my face.

"You can stay with us."

"But I'm not a Crystal Gem."

"You can be." She said, letting me go. I backed away a little. She walked up to Garnet and looked up at her.

Peridot opened her mouth to speak, but Garnet answered her question.

"Yes."

Peridot had stars in her eyes as she looked up to Garnet for a moment, then hugged her. Garnet was a little surprised at the gesture, but then she returned the hug.

Peridot ran up to me. I flinched. Then, I opened my eye to see her standing in front of me with her hand out. I took it. Once I was standing, she grabbed my waist and started to spin me around.

Our gems glowed.

We fused.
