(Madison's POV)
He flew over me in I tangle of fur and limbs.
Oh heck no sparky.
I sprint after him, my paws slamming into the dirt, my claws digging into the mud. He will not escape. I told Daniel to go get Luna and Kaylee. He didn't want to, but I made him. I am the beta after all. I got right behind him and tackled him to the ground. He clawed and struggled, but I held strong and waited for Luna. He got free a few times, but I wasn't going to let him go. Finally, a flash of white fur and green eyes appears beside me. She shifts.
"Is this the trespasser?"
"Yes, the very annoying trespasser."
"Shift." She's talking to the wolf.
No he states simply.
Oh my god. Craps about to hit the fan

(Luna POV)
"Shift." I say again putting a little alpha power behind my words.

"Shift!" I put all my alpha power behind my words and the dark grey wolf was now. Numb. My brain is numb. He he couldn't have.
"Lucas?"
He winces.
"Luna."
I can't help it. I start growling. My vision is blurry and I realize it's because I'm growling so loud I'm vibrating. With a mind of its own, my fist slams into his face and he flys back a few feet, stunned.

Lucas sits there, with an ice pack to his face, glaring at the tent.
"Ooooh I'm sure that tent is shaking with fear."
He growls at me.
"Ok ok god."
"You punched me."
"You betrayed me and then trespassed in my territory and killed a deer, and I'm the bad guy?"
He sighs and drops the ice pack.
"Why are you here Lucas?"
"Well I came here for food."
"That sucks. Cuz your leaving with an empty stomach."
"Awww! And here I thought we were getting along."
"Is being annoying something you have to work at or...?"
He snorts.
"Your different, last time I saw you, you were a weak little girl who did anything here mommy told her too."
"Yeah well when that mommy died along with the rest of my pack I decided I could use an attitude change."
"I'm sorry about your pack."
"Sure you are daddy's boy."
He stares at me for a moment. I needed some sleep, I think I'm going crazy.
"Shouldn't you be going?"
"I was actually planning on joining your tiny pack."
"Tiny it may be, but I just watched you get your tail kicked by my beta, and she was having an off day."
"True true"
"Your not joining my pack."
"I bet I can change your mind."
"I'd like to see you try."
"Give me one week. One week to prove myself."
"5 days." I counter.
"Perfect."
We shake on it.
"Good luck tomorrow!" I call over my shoulder. "As a newbie we need to see what your made of. Your test is tomorrow."
"Fine by me."
"Madison will be giving you the test."
He looks confused.
"The beta."
