It's Never Good-Bye

It was that day that both Mystery and Hayes have dreaded for a long time.

Hayes and Mystery laid close together and cuddled up for their last time in their place. Notre Endroit will be forever theirs.

Hayes clutched Mystery and holding her close, never wanting to let her go.

Everything was quiet. Hayes just held Mystery in silence. They just stared off into the distance holding each other, not saying a word.

Neither of them dared to speak a word. They just wanted to be together as long as they could.

Hayes' phone buzzed next to him making both him and Mystery jump.

Mystery sighed and sat up slowly.

Hayes grabbed his phone next to him and look at the text message that flashed on his iPhone.

Hayes let out a deep and angry breath as he squeezed his phone.

Mystery put her hand on Hayes' hand that held his phone to calm him down. Hayes looked over at Mystery who tried to calm him down.

"It's okay." Mystery reassured.

Hayes' eyes became sad and heartbroken. Mystery was hurting as well but they both tried not to show it.

Mystery leaned in and kissed Hayes' cheek and wrapped her arms around his neck.

She was taking in the moment for it was their last time together in their special place of Notre Endroit.

Hayes and Mystery walked hand and hand as they walked to Hayes' house.

As they approached it, they looked up to see Hayes' family with Hayes' stuff outside of two cars.

Mystery could feel her heart break into pieces. She didn't want to let go of Hayes' hand.

Hayes was being torn apart. He didn't want to leave Mystery. He enjoyed being in his spotlight in Magcon but he loved being here with Mystery.

They walked together over to Hayes' family as Hayes said hello to everyone there.

"Ready to go, little brother?" Nash asked patting his back.

Hayes opened his mouth but looked over at Mystery would was doing everything she could so she wouldn't burst into tears.

"Oh I'm sorry. Hi, I'm Nash, Hayes' older brother. And I'm assuming you're Mystery because you're even prettier than Hayes described." Nash said.

Mystery put on her fake smile and looked as she looked at Nash. She liked him. Nash was nice and sort of got the fact that Hayes didn't want to leave.

"Yo, let's get-" a guy shouted as he ran up to Nash but stopped as he looked at Hayes and Mystery.

Nash gave him a look.

"Cameron, chill!!" Nash said as he glared at him.

Cameron nodded and whispered to Nash.

Hayes turned and looked at Mystery as he held her hands.

"This isn't good-bye." Mystery said.

Hayes' breath was choppy as he held himself together.

Mystery pulled him in close and hugged him as tight as she could.

"I love you Hayes Grier. Forever and Always." Mystery said through Hayes' jacket.

"And I love you Mystery." Hayes said.

They released their grips on each other and looked at their faces. Both were blood red with wet tears. Mystery couldn't bare to look at Hayes, but since it feels like the last time she stared as long she could.

Hayes took in his last seconds looking at Mystery's beauty. He was going to miss her. He's used to meeting wonderful and pretty girls everyday. There was no doubt about that, but Mystery was different. He felt like she was the one. And all this time he had with her proves it right.

Hayes took a deep breath and muttered, "I promise I will see you again." And turned and walked into the car.

Nash watched him walk away as Cameron looks at Mystery and goes, "He really likes you. You're a lucky girl."

Mystery smiled through her tears. She looked over to the car and saw Hayes' deep blue eyes through the window.

Mystery mouth to Hayes, "I love you, forever and always."

Hayes nodded at her and replied, "Forever and always."

Nash and Cameron walked to car slowly as they waved good-bye to Mystery.

"Yo Cameron. How's your girl back home? Isn't her name like Mean?" Nash called out grabbing Cameron's shoulder.

Cameron smiled as he looked at the ground.

"Oh man, she's amazing. She played hard to get but she's awesome!"

Nash and Cameron laughed at each other and loaded up into the car and drove away leaving a sad and heartbroken Mystery in the dust.
