Chapter 9

Joey's pov

I was laying in my bed scrolling through my twitter feed waiting for Daniel to come home so I could go to his house when I heard a knock on my bedroom door

J: come in

I said to the person on the other side of the door. It opened slowly amd my older sister Nicole came in

J: NICOLE

I yelled jumping out of my bed and running over to her. I pulled her into a tight hug and she hugged back

N: God Joey, I missed you so much

J: I missed you too

You see Nicole lives upstate in an apartment by her university. She barely ever comes to visit so i rarely get to see her. Nicole walked over to my bed and sat down. I followed and sat down next to her

N: so how is everything, you know with mom

J: well it hasnt been the best. Most nights she gets drunk, and when she does she gets really aggresive and starts yelling at me for no reason. In the morning when she wakes up she doesnt remember anything and acts like it's all fine. I-i pray everyday to whoever or w-whatever is out there t-that she wont drink again but s-she does

I started crying softly with my face in my hands. Nicole started rubbing my back and I started to calm down

N: Im sorry Joey, I really am. I should have never left you to deal with this all alone. Wait, I HAVE AN IDEA

She said standing up

J: what is it

N: you can come life with me upsate at university, you can live with me and sierra in our apartment

She said pulling me up and jumping up and down in excitement

J: Im sorry Nicole, I cant

I said sitting back down, she sat back down too with a disappointed look on her face

N: why not

J: because I have someone here that I can't leave

I said smiling at the thought of Daniel

N: who

J: His name is Daniel and he really cares about me and we love eachother

She squealed and waved her and in the air

N: REALLY! Oh my god Joey, Im so happy for you

She said as my phone buzzed. I looked at it and I saw that I had a text from Daniel

J: I just got a text from him. Is it ok if I reply

She nodded with a smile on her face spread from ear to ear

Hey baby, im home.

Ok. Im with my sister right now, she is visiting from college

Really. Can I meet her?

Yea, ill bring her over in a sec ok.

Yea ok. I love you

I love you too

J: do you want to go meet Daniel

I asked her locking my phone and looking up at her

N: YES

J: ok lets go

Hey guys Nikolas here!!! Ok so I have tried to write this chapter LIKE 6 TIMES AND EVERY TIME IT HAS DELETED ITSELF. I literally was just about to quite but i didnt because i dont give up on what i start.
