CARMEN'S POV
Larissa finally fell asleep. Poor thing she must be exhausted. I looked at this angelic face one more time before I walked out of the room. I need to know more about Jake's history. Whenever I'm in doubt I always turn to one person I trusted the most. Natasha Christ, my cousin. I closed the door gently, not wanting to wake Larissa up. "Is Natasha here yet?" I asked one of the maids. "Yes, the black room, Miss," I nodded and proceed to the black room. It's where I always meet people and all. Well most will call it an office. As I opened the door, I was greeted by a very strong fragrance. I instantly know its Natasha. Only that woman put on a lot of it. "You know, even flies died when they near you," I joked. "I'm glad, because I hate them," Tasha turned her head to me. "Welcome back Carmen," she smiled.
She stood up and walked towards me. I was eyeing her face and body. Her perfect blonde hair compliment her perfect hazel orbs. She's look like a model straight from the fashion magazine. Her tight black dress compliments every curve her body have and her amazing Christian Louboutin heels. She hugged me and I hugged her back. "It's so nice to see you again. How is England?" we pulled away from each other. "It's cold." I simply said and walked towards my chair behind the marble table. Tasha sat on her previous seat. "So what you need?" she asked me when she was seated. "I need your help to investigate someone," Tasha raised her eyebrow at me. I know what she's about to say. "Stop! It's for a friend. And I am thinking about making her mine. So I need to help her," Tasha smirked.
"It's weird to see you concerned about someone," her smirked widened. I sighed. "I like her okay," she looked stunned. "Her? So you're truly back huh." She smiled. Am I? "Okay, tell me what you need to be done." I smiled. She always so eager! "His name is Jake. I don't know his last name. But, if you investigate Larissa Vincent, you will know him," she nodded. "Is this Larissa Vincent your new lady?" I blushed. "I take that as a yes," she chuckled. "Is that all?" "I need you to find a little girl named Hope. Check Larissa's files and please tell me the name of the family Hope was in," Tasha look stunned. "She had a baby?" I nodded. "I want to find that girl before Jake does," she nodded. "I got it. I'll do my best. Grandpapa's man is always reliable," I stopped her. "Those men hurt my Larissa." Tasha released a very raspy laugh. "Possessive much?" she smirked. "Can you help me or not?" she nodded. "Of course I can. I am Natasha!" I smiled. I reached my jacket inside pocket and handed her some money.
"I'll pay the other half after the job is done," she looked at me and the money. She smiled and hand the money back to me. "No. you helped me before. This is my turn to return the favor," she stood up and smiled. "It's nice to see you again Carmen. I'll let my family know you're back here," I smiled at her. She turned on her heels and walked towards the door and closed it. I sighed. Well, that's one thing done. I looked around the room and instantly all the past memories flooded in my brain. I looked at a picture on top of the table and smiled. "Well sis, I finally found love again." Suddenly a knocked woke me from my fantasy and my sisters' figure appeared. "How is she?" Catherine asked me. "She's good. Asleep." She smiled. "Who's that guy?" I turned my gazed to Christina. "The person who impregnate her and leave her the next day," I say in disgust. My sister's expression is priceless. "You're okay with it?" Catherine asked me. I nodded. "What's in the past, stays in the past," I answered.
"What will you do now?" I reached for my phone on the table. "Find out what his deal is and search for the baby," they both smiled. "We'll help. Besides, we like Larissa to be 'part' of the family," I blushed deep red. Is it that obvious?"Awwww... Look Cath! Our baby sister is blushing! So cute!" Christina coos to me in baby voice. "Chris! Stop it. I'm not a baby," Catherine hit Christina's shoulder playfully. "Yes Chris! She's a lady with a crush," they both laughed. Why do I have such a crazy sister? "When are you going to tell her you're feelings?" Catherine asked me when she's back to her normal self. "I don't know how to," I mumbled and they both leaned in. "What?" I sighed and took a deep breath. "I don't know how to do that," I said through gritted teeth. Damn these two always find a way to make me embarrassed. Christina put her hand to her mouth to stop herself from laughing. Catherine just smiled. "Not funny Chris," Christina held both her hands up. Catherine clapped her hands to gain our attention.
