The drive was in total silence. Larissa avoided any eye contact with Carmen but she feels her gazed sometime. Larissa feels embarrassed, hurt and afraid all at the same time. She feels as if she just brought more problems to the Larove's family especially Carmen. Jake is not from a good family. He will surely get his revenge after what Carmen had done to him. Larissa knows that Carmen is in danger. She just endangered the person she love the most after her family. Larissa decided to look outside. The scenery outside is peaceful. She wonders where Carmen is taking her. The long road ahead just eases up her mind a bit. She never knew that this place even existed. It's probably one of the elite's playgrounds.

This place look like it's in the middle of nowhere. No other car passes by, no other human walking around not even animals. Larissa wanted to ask Carmen where they headed to but she's too afraid Carmen might scold her. Carmen finally stops in front of a giant gated community? Larissa looks around but there's no other house in sight. Carmen pulled out her phone from her inside pocket of her leather jacket and calls someone. "Brooke, I'm outside. Open the gate." Brooke is Mrs. Larove most trusted personal assistant. Carmen hangs up and looked over to Larissa. "You feel alright?" Carmen asked her with the softest tone ever. Larissa looks up, surprised by her action. She surely thought Carmen would not care about her.

"I'm fine. Where is this exactly?" The giant gate open and Carmen drove into the property. "You'll see," she gives Larissa the biggest smile she can form on her perfect face. Larissa stunned to see the most magnificent view she ever witness in her life when she glanced outside. She never saw the grass greener, the flower beds are perfectly tended, the magnificent view of a man-made lake just next to the majestic property and the most extravagant view of a Victorian style mansion at the end of the driveway. This totally blew Larissa's mind. Carmen stopped her car in front of the mansion where four female maids and Brooke waiting for them. Carmen got out of the car and went to Larissa's side and opened the door for her.

"This is my late sister's home. It's where I'll go to release any tension building up inside me." Carmen told Larissa. The maids approached them and greet their employer. "Welcome back Miss Larove, Miss," they all said in unison. "Thank you. And can anyone of you call Miss Natasha for me and ask her to meet me here. Say it's urgent." Brooke nodded her head and make way for her mistress to walk towards the house. Larissa gasped as they entered the house. "Let's sit outside," Carmen said and led Larissa to the backyard...

LARISSA'S POV

I can't believe this is happening. All those memories has come flooding back and I'm doing everything I can to push them away. But no matter how hard I try, it all hit me at one time and I feel like I can't breathe. Carmen drove us to her sister's house. But no matter where we're going I know I'm going to have to tell her about my past and my darkest secret. With so many secrets and lies that are entangled in that one secret. She offered me a seat and she smiled. I don't know if I can genuinely smile at her back. As she sat next to me, I grabbed her arms never letting go. Instantly I feel safe as if there's nothing that can hurt me. I got to speak but she put one finger to my lips to quiet me down. I looked at her with questioning eyes. She looked at me with such concerned on her face. I started crying again. "It's okay. You don't have to explain anything to me," she placed her hands on my cheeks to wipe my tears.

"Whatever happened in your past is in the past and I don't care what happened..." Then it was my turn to stop her. "Carmen if we're going to have any kind of chance of being together or even as friends, you have to know the truth and all of it not just part of it." I took a deep breath. "Jake and I grew up together. Apart from my family, he's the one person I've known my whole life. We did everything together. For a long time I thought I'd always be with him...," again I took a deep breath to stop thinking about what Jake and I did together in the past. "He knew everything about me and I know everything about him. But then when we were 13 years old, things started to change a little. He would touch my hand or waist. It was something he's always done but I started to feel different about it," I recalled the time he would do such thing to me. Carmen looks at me with concerned eyes and she never interrupts me. "At the time I didn't really understand the feelings but I wasn't old enough to act on those feelings. Not really. Then one night, we were home alone. Just the two of us..." I took a deep breath and wipe my tears.
