Sunny knew what he meant. She also knew that she would want herself to go talk to Tsunami, but she didn't want to cut the date short. For Starflight's sake. "Starflight, is it all right if I go talk to Tsunami?" She said.

He replied making a slight small smile "Well if you do I'm going to come with you, but I think we should at least talk a little before doing that."

She smiled back warmly. "Yeah ... alright."

They sat there awkwardly for a moment, until Starflight attempted to start a conversation.
"Sooooo...." He said. "How was your...day?"
Sunny laughed. Starflight was so awkward and she found it hilarious.

"It was good Starflight" She replied with a cheeky smile. He smiled back "Good" Sunny shifted her claws awkardly trying to think of something else to talk about.

"Hey" Starflight said. "I read a scroll yesterday, would you like to hear it? It's a fairytale/Fantasy!" Sunny nodded and soon Starflight went on a whole tangent about some silly story of 5 dragons friends who were super close and had parties, went on adventures, and read scrolls together.

Sunny was on the floor laughing by the end. "Starflight" she said wiping tears from her eyes. "Did you write this?"

He looked away shyly "How'd you know?"

"Well, that Monsoon character seems a lot like Tsunami,  and Swamp and Clay seem very similar to eachother, That Pride girl is exactly like Glory, That Moonflyer guy is just like you, and Bright sounds a lot like me. Especially the way Moonflyer describes her."

If Starflight's skin wasn't dark as night he probably would've been red. But instead there was just a deep blush on his cheeks and ear tips.

"Hey." Sunny said "It was good!" She playfully swiped a claw at him. "But I don't think any of us but you would sit down for a three hour reading session."

Starflight blushed more looking away from Sunny. They sat awkwardly again till Starflight suddenly sat up. "Sunny." he said.

"What?" she asked him. "Do you hear anything?"He said moving towards one of the walls.

"No" Sunny replied. "I didn't hear anything before either."

"But." Starflight said staring with his blind eyes "I could before, and I can't now. That must mean everyone's asleep. Which means we've been talking for a while."

      "So?" Sunny said.

"So, you should probably go back to your room." Starflight said.

"Oh, Okay!" Sunny replied. "Bye Starflight!" She exclaimed as she went out the door. Sunny walked for a while through the halls trying to find her room. Then she realized, they had had their date in her room.

She quickly retraced her steps. She found Starflight walking ahead of her down the hall aimlessly. He turned his head around and looked around the hallway. "Sunny?" He said into the air.

"Yeah!" said Sunny with an awkward tone.

"Oh, yeah." said Starflight. "I kinda forgot we were already in your room, so I left hoping you would realize and come back like it never happened." Starflight gave a nervous smile while staring at the ground.

Sunny laughed. "Well, that's not how it went was it?" She walked up to him.

"No, I guess not." said Starflight. "But that's okay, right?"

Sunny laughed again. "Of course Starflight no problem." Starflight smiled. Sunny helped guide him back to the library, and couldn't help but smile on the way back to her room.

The date hadn't gone at all how she had imagined. It had been great. She laughed so much and had a ton of fun. Despite all her doubts and thoughts about how the whole thing could go horribly wrong, somehow she still enjoyed it. It was very much unexpectedly wonderful.
