chapter nine

Kate's POV. 

A couple days back My school had a function where if you went you had five weeks of free dress, but only on Fridays. I spent all afternoon thursday trying to figure out what to wear because I wanted to look good for Michael, but didn't want seem too dressed up. I had Lauren help me pick a cute outfit so we would match just in case my plan back fires.

Friday morning

I woke from my slumber slipping on a grey mesh blouse, black standard-skinny jeans, a black and white cardigan, a light grey scarf, and to top it off all black roshes.

As I entered the school side doors I saw Delilah running towards me in shock. 

D:" Wow Kate you look cute girl, she exclaimed, " spin."

I spun around looking down at my shoes hoping I didn't over due it. 

D: "Dang K I've never seen you all dressed up. You should do this more often." She babbled

Lauren's POV. 

Michael better notice this girl I worked hard on her outfit. I know Kate's trying to look good for Michael so his jaw better drop to the floor, or I'll do it myself.

I walked in to Ms. Gunter's class hoping it would go by fast. Sure enough it was the slowest forty-five minutes of my life.

I wanted to see his reaction when he saw me.

but I think I'm expecting too much from him all I want to do is catch his attention a little, or maybe a lot.

so when I got to second my desk that is approximately two table groups away from his is gone.

What a shame, it magically disappeared :)

I sat at the empty desk next to him. He looked me up and down with his mouth wide open. I smiled and started to prepare for the test.

He manage to cheated off of me, Bryan and Kayla while finishing before all of us were done. I'm starting to see how he has such good grades.

"I hope you fail. " I joked struggling on the last question.

During fourth we had this assembly about new electives you can take in high school in the gym. So Michael, Lauren, and I went to the choir door to wait for Delilah to come out. We all sat down and he sits next me of course, plus we were kinda squished so he was on me I was kinda on him and yeah.😊

Alex the gayest and loudest I know sits on the opposite side of Michael. He starts yelling at some teacher for telling him to sit down like dude!! It was so funny though I was dying.

Michael's POV.

Kate was laughing so hard at Alex. He was being so aggravating but all I could see was Kate's chubby cheeks ear to ear in laughter.  I was looking at her not meaning to stare but she's so cute when she laughs. I think I was looking a little to long because after while we were just starting at each other.

it was just ❤️

That confirmed that she was okay with it and threw the rest of the assembly she was laying on my shoulder cuddling with my arm.

It made me feel all warm inside.

I had butterflies in my stomach.

I didn't know what I was feeling but I felt good, way too good. I pulled my arm from her and sat up straight trying not to look at her confused face.

Hopefully she doesn't push me away.

Kate POV.

Almost everytime I look at him I want to just grab his face and kiss him. During the assembly I was trying not to stare because eyes have long nerves. That basically means if I don't blink my eyes drift. Usually I do it on purpose but sometimes it just happens. And if that does happen I'm going to look stupid. Most time when I stare too long I bite my lip.

Dude if he doesn't like me and he's sees me bite my lip IM GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK.

He's gonna look at me like 😒
then I'll feel like😳but😰 at the same time and😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ugggghhhh. I hate have a crush on my best friend.

Let's hope he likes me #prayforkate

Even though he blew me off during the assembly I had goals this lunch.

I was on a mission.

1. sit by him when we get lunch

2. tell Wendy I like him

3. hold his hand for more than 1.2 seconds

Only one of those numbers happened.

Number one didn't work out because some random dude sat by me like dafup🌚🌝

Number three ended up with dillon's hand. I have no idea how?!

and I told Wendy I liked him in fifth she literally just laughed. I dont know why I was so worried about her.

Maybe because they just broke up I don't know.

Somehow Delilah came up in this conversation but she started making all these assumptions about her and they were really rude that she was the type to sext. Like that's so uncalled for and you have no right to say stuff like that!!

Shoot all the dirt I got on you.

Next morning

Kate's POV.

Today was not good I was off my a-game. We were doing a kahoot and when I turned around he we were looking at each other and I went✌🏾️he went✌🏼 I think I freaked and threw it up. I'm so stupid I should've smiled or something.

then in class we were taking a test in science and Laura🆘 was killing my vibe I wanted to punch her omg...

Like Damn Daniel can you not...

To top it all off it started raining and mr.basset came over the loudspeaker.

"Please be careful outside because it's wet from all the rain. thank you. go bears!"

As soon as he said that me and him were like she gonna leave us outside. in the cold and rain just watch.

and she sure did smh🙄

got all these loud kids disrupting classes and slapboxing outside.

lord help us.

Lunch sucked because Marissa and pear shape have ahh sat right in between me and Michael. couldn't shut up if i gave her a million dollars. Even if she stuffed her face with nachos she would talk with mouth full. its not like she ate then anyway. All of it spilled on my plate as she was talking.

freaking nasty buthole.
