Kate's POV.

I told myself today was the day. Today is the day I grow some balls and tell this boy I like him. "I'll tell him at lunch!" I thought to myself.

I had so much confidence the whole day it was crazy. When I woke up I wasn't groggy, I played my music without ads, and my mom gave me money. Today was going to be so litt.

After the long car ride from my house to Naaman Forest High then to my school. I like to get to school really early so I can chill with my friends. So sense school starts at 8:45 I like to gay there at like 7:00-7:30.

As I wait for Delilah and Lauren Marry approaches me. oh lord here we go.

"You need to talk to Michael because he won't talk to me" she nagged

Like I don't why she can't do it her self  dafuq. I'm so sick of this stuff with her it's just nonsense.

"And I have to do it because..." I said putting the emphasis on because

"Because he'll talk to you" she mumbled

"I'm not your fairy godmother. I don't go 'bibbidi bobbidi boo' and fix things. You have to do this one on your own." I said putting my foot down

I was so excited to go to second even though we don't talk but idk he just makes me happy.
(OMG that was gay😂)
When I got to second period it was the usual awkward smiles and rosy cheeks exchanged across the room. ☺️

Only because I didn't want to seem like a bad friend I told Michael him and Marry need to talk to get this bs out of the way. In the hallway before third they were supposed to talk so I just walked to class.

Third period was...indescribable. First, Jake had a crush yesterday and refused to tell me after I told mine. Well he said Marry would tell me so I asked of course. Come to find out he likes me!! Now I feel terrible for telling him.
oh my damn. She said it was like obvious and I kinda felt bad.

I'm not complaining but we don't really talk dude.

If you liked someone wouldn't you try to contact them more? OR AT LEAST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS  THEY ASKED WITHOUT BULLSHITING AROUND THEM. 🤔

But hey that's whatever. Maybe I'm just over thinking this whole situation.

"Yo K you need to control bloody Marry over there" he giggled snapping me out of my thoughts

"What did she do?" I said trying to hold in my laughter

"She grabbed my ass and I just walked away." He said throw his stuff on the table

"Well what exactly was she grabbing because you have the butt of a wall" I chuckled

"Whatever either way she wants this" he smirked and wiggled his eyebrows

"Mmmhmm sure."

The bell rang to go to forth period and everyone rushed out the class. In the hall going to fourth I explained to Marry the conversation me and Michael had about her and she just laughed. When we actually got to fourth I was telling Lauren.

"Dude I've seen the text messages. Don't you see all this flirting you and him are doing?!"

I thought about it for second.

"True true" I flushed then we were on the way to lunch.
