A SIMPLE POEM OF LOVE

I don't really know where or how to start
To make a poem that will capture your heart.
I don't even know how will I express
How you make me feel happy and restless.

My heart beats fast since the day I met you.
My mind goes crazy whenever you say hello.
I never thought you'd really affect me that much
Even though it's been days since we started to get in touch.

I kinda feel happy everytime we get to talk
And when you're away, in a corner I would sulk.
I can't help but blush whenever I think of you,
Hoping and wondering if you feel the same way, too.

Soon, I found myself daydreaming about the two of us,
Thinking of a future with my sweet serenity.
But soon I wake up into the harsh reality
That you and me can't be together, alas!

I don't even know why is this even happening!
Heck, you even visit me whenever I'm dreaming!
All this confusing shits make me wanna sing
'I never thought I'd catch this lovebug again.'

I'm sorry if you'll find this poem kinda corny
I'm just not inclined to romance and love stories.
I can't say love words like 'te amo' or 'wo ai ni'
But honestly, you really make my heart go 'doki doki.'

I know I can't tell you what I really feel.
I know we can't be more than friends, for real.
But I'm truly happy that I met a person like you.
Thank you, crush, for making me feel important, too.
