A Human

Buried in betrayal,
Sunken in sadness.
Lost in lies,
Drowned in despondence.
A human,
Is all she is,

Despised by dreamers,
Welcomed by the woeful.
Trapped in terror,
Settling in with the sorrowful.
A human,
Is all she is.

Enduring in exasperation,
Bearing the brutal bait,
A human,
Is all she is.

No help would she be given,
For the person she is.
This is the problem with today's people,
They judge a person without knowing them,
Like judging a book by it's cover.

Sick of everything,
And everyone.
She gave up,
And told herself,
"A human was all I was."
And gave her life away.
