My Story

You may know my story,
But the words remain unknown.
They may be strangers,
Unexpectedly gone.

They may be missing,
In the book that I wrote.
Every single thing,
Every single note.

You may know my story,
Yet it remains untold.
The darkest secrets,
The deepest thoughts.
You wouldn't want to know them,
Believe me they're cold.

You may know my story,
But why would you care?
You do know my story,
I shall beware,
As you may declare.
Thus I do fear,
This story that you hear.
In the darkest of lairs.
