Maybe they're meant to remain like that,
Because you don't have the strength to send them,
Being afraid of the aftermaths,
You leave them unattended,

You just don't have the strength to press the "send" button,
After all the wars you've been through,
You can't believe the truth.
Each word, each letter you type,
Makes your heart beat faster,
Palms get sweatier,
And makes your lips quiver.

No matter how hard you try,
You always end up getting ignored.
With no one to share your sorrow with,
You decide to vent your anger into words,
Slowly soothing your heart,
And untangling your mind from this absurd bewilderment.

And that's pretty good for a start.
But it never completely heals your wounds, your pain.
Thus you decide to write another one,
And add them,
To your collection of "unsent messages ".

P.N: So sorry! I know I haven't updated in ages, but thank you to all those out there who still bother themselves and continue reading my book. Love y'all ❤️.
