Violet's pov
Today is the day, the traitorous day i've been dreading for almost a week now. I sighed as I hit the alarm clock on the night stand next to my bed. I rubbed my eyes and opened them slightly to see that Emma had set out my school uniform for me. It looked a little small but I couldn't care less, I just wanted to get this day over with. I slowly swung my legs over to the side of the bed before getting up. I grabbed my phone and headed to the bathroom to get ready. Yes I did just say my phone. Honestly a lot has gone on this past week.
*Flashback*
"Violet!" Emma called from somewhere in the house. I clicked off the t.v and went to the living room. "Oh, Violet there you are! So I noticed that you don't have a phone or anything so I went out and bought you a few things. That way when you decide to go running off you can call me to let me know first." Emma said while winking and grabbing the bags from behind her. "Now before you say no thank you like your mother does to me all the time I want you to know that you need these things. Every girl needs some shoes and some beautiful clothes!" I thanked her before running up to my bedroom to explore what she had bought me.
*End of flashback*
I looked at my phone to see that I had two text messages, I opened the first one to see that Sky had texted me his classes and I noticed we had almost all but two of them together. The other message was from Will. I couldn't help but smile when I opened Wills text message. Lately things between us have been amazing. We've gotten to spend a lot of time with each other and I can really see myself ending up with him. But what about Tyler? Now that situation is a mess I don't have time to think about.
I had far better things to stress about like how what was public school going to be like and why people in movies always describe it as being some horrible place. I skipped down to the kitchen while passing Tyler on the way. "Violet! I wouldn't go down there." He said calmly. I looked at him suspiciously before continuing down the stairs.
I was curious to why Tyler tried to tell me not to go down stairs but I soon found out. "William how dare you? Out of all people I thought you would be nice to Violet and keep her safe. For god sake's you are her friend! But no you let some girl cause a fight between you and your brother! Not to mention you caused so much drama for poor Violet." Emma screamed at Will as he looked down at his hands.
I cringed at the mention of my name. Things have been so great lately I forgot about what happened at the beach. I even forgot about Aria and the fact that i'm probably going to see her at school. Oh no what if we have the same classes together? What if she really believes that Will and her are dating and she starts annoying me with a million and one questions about what it's like living with Will. I shook the thoughts from my head and tuned back into Will and Emma's conversation.
Emma sighed before calming down a bit "Look you know how important it is to Violet's parents that she is here and safe. I need at least one of you to keep an eye on her. If you and Tyler can't handle yourself around her i'm going to have to get someone else to look out for her. Hmm maybe that nice Skylar boy what ever happened to you guys handing out? Never mind i'm sure I don't want to know the reason."
"Mom i'll look out for her. I'm sorry you had to find out about what happened at the beach but we are all over it. We all talked about it and sorted it out like adults. That's why we lied to you about why Tyler was in the hospital I didn't want you to get mad at us and send Violet home. " Will paused before looking up at his mother. "Can I ask you something mom?" He asked slowly like he was unsure of whether asking his mom something was a good idea.
I understood that. Don't get me wrong I love Emma but if you tell her something she will gossip like there's no tomorrow. I've been telling Emma about all of the feelings that I have been having about my parents leaving me and she went a and blabbed them to my mother. Trust me you do not want to know how that conversation with my mom ended.
