Will's pov
Let's see where do I start? How about at the hospital. When my mom and dad came back into the room with a look on their face that could kill I knew something was wrong. I sat in silence as my mom began to question Tyler about what happened that night and how it was even possible that he was sitting in the hospital instead of in jail. Tyler squirmed uncomfortably in his hospital bed as my mom asked him a million more question.
By the time she was done asking questions Tyler was in tears and Violet was no where to be seen. I was about to head out and look for her when my mother suddenly turned to me and started to ask questions. "Why is Tyler in the hospital today?" My mother asked while moving her hands to her hips. I looked over at my father who was typing away on his phone.
"Um...well..he..um." I stuttered trying to think of what to say to her. I can't tell her that the fight was because of Violet. If I do she'll probably just send Violet back home and then i'll never get a chance to be with her but if I don't tell her the truth I would just be lying to her even more. I opened my mouth and closed it quickly still trying to think of something to say.
Suddenly Tyler chimed in. "I thought he took my soccer gear instead of his own. It was my fault. You know how I feel about my lucky socks mom I never win a match if i'm not wearing them." My mother looked back and forth between us like she was trying to decided whether or not to believe us. She sighed and slumped down into the chair next to me.
She looked around the room and noticed Violet was no longer in there. "Where's Violet?!" My mother asked while quickly getting out of her chair and running out of the room. For the next hour or so we all walked around the hospital trying to find out where Violet went. We were all pretty worried considering the fact that she's never really been out of the house. After another thirty minutes of useless searching we all came back to the room.
"What am I going to do with all of you kids.?" My mother asked while slumping down in the chair next to me. Right as I was about to make a joke about shipping us off to the Bahama's her phone started going off. She looked down at the number confused before exiting the room. I looked over at my father who was still texting away on his phone before checking my phone for the billionth time to see if Violet had texted me or called.
My mom came back in the room and told us that Violet walked over to the park because she felt that all of this was a family matter. My mom shook her head and mumbled something about Violet being family now. My parents gathered all of their stuff and offered to give us a ride home before they had to head off the L.A again for another meeting. I shook my head and told them I was going to go make sure Violet was okay. They nodded and told me to be home by ten because apparently Tyler and I were grounded.
Those were the last few minutes of peace before I saw what happened at the park with Violet. I couldn't believe that Skylar aka the kid who beat the crap out of my brother for no reason was over here kissing on my girl. The worst part is that she didn't want him to kiss her. Well I guess that is a good thing for me because that means she has no feelings for him but the poor girl has only been living a normal life for a couple days and she's already been through more drama than you could imagine.
I walked over to beat the living daylights out of Skylar but Violet stopped me. There was something about her being in my arms that was so soothing. Unfortunately I let that all get to my head because I was suddenly agreeing to go to dinner at this pervs house. I shook my head at the thought of him being a pervert before grabbing Violet's hand and walking over to the car. This dinner is going to be awkward for more reasons than one.
Violet's pov
The car ride over to Sky's house was incredibly awkward. Besides my few attempts at starting up a conversation the car ride was completely silent. I glanced over at Will and he flashed me one of his reassuring smiles. I sighed and continued to listen to the music as we drove down the highway. It only took about fifteen minutes to get to Sky's house but those fifteen minutes had to be the most awkward minutes of my life.
