"Ms.Miller, please go get me some more coffee." My boss, Mr.Gilinsky, says not looking up from his papers.
"Yes mr.Gilinsky." I say and roll my eyes.
I grab his mug and walk down to the office.
I go down to the coffee maker and get Mr.Gilinsky his black coffee. Seriously who drinks black coffee? Well i guess the taste matches his personality... Bitter.
I walk back up to his office and set his coffee on the desk.
"Here" i mumble.
He takes a sip and makes a face.
"W-what's wrong?" I ask.
"This is disgusting! How could a person mess up this badly on coffee?!" He yells.
"I'm sorry sir i'll make you another one." I say and frantically grab his mug before quickly walking downstairs and fixing his coffee. I made sure to pay very close attention to what I was doing this time.
I started walking back to Mr.Gilinsky's office only to be stopped.
I ran into a tall muscular man who looked somewhere around my age. And as much as I hate to admit it, he was hot.
"Oh um... Sorry." I say blushing.
"It's fine." He says and smiles at me.
"I'm Camryn." I say sticking my hand out.
"I'm grayson." He says shaking it.
"That's a nice name." I compliment him.
"Thanks yours is too." He smiles.
"Well I better get going or Mr.Gilinsky will kill me." I laugh.
"Ooh Mr.Gilinsky. He's a tough one! I don't want to get you in trouble but do you think I could have your number? You seem cool." He says.
I nod and put my number in his phone and he does the same with mine.
I wave and start to walk back to the office.
"Good luck with mr.Gilinsky!" Grayson yells to me.
"What took you so long?" Mr.Gilinsky asks, fuming.
"I'm sorry sir i just, i ran into someone and i-" he cuts me off.
"Ya ya... I saw you flirting with that grayson guy. You know I don't allow employees to date one another."
"How did you see me with him?" I ask.
"I have security cameras..." He says in a duh tone.
"You were spying on me?!" I say, raising my voice a bit.
"Uh ya... It's my building." He must have seen the look in my eyes that showed i was 3 seconds away from punching him because then he adds, "oh okay i'm sorry Cam"
Cam? Well that's definitely new.
"It's fine Mr.Gilinsky." I sigh.
"Camryn i've known you for a while now, you can call me Jack." He says.
Ok i think something is going on.
"Are you okay mr gilins- I mean uh.. Jack." I ask. Why is he all the sudden being so nice?
"Yes i'm fine why?" He asks with a huge smile on his face.
"It's just... You're being so nice all the sudden. I thought you hated me?" I ask.
He just shrugs it off.
"How old are you Mr.Gilinsky." I blurt out.
"Its jack. And i'm 22." He says.
"Oh sorry." I say.
"It's fine. How old are you Camryn?" He asks me.
"I'm 20." I say.
"Oh." He says and then mutters something. I couldn't quite make out what it was though.
"What was that?" I ask.
"Nothing." He says awkwardly.
I look at him sceptically.
He just looks at his watch and says "well you can go home now ms.Miller."
"Ok. See you tomorrow jack." I say before walking out the door out to my silver buick.
This was definitely an odd day.
